This can be toughie sometimes, you just don't offer your friends advice. Not even when they're making the most terrible mistake. Not even when you're sure they'll regret it for ever. Not even when you know exactly what they ought to do.
We can never be sure we're right. Your friend knows their own mind and their own life better than you do. Yes, I know you've only got their best interests at heart, but that's still not enough. The last thing they need at a time like this is the pressure of friends telling them what to do. If this is important enough to want to advise them about, it's important enough to keep your mouth shut about. Your job is to be there, and to listen.
