Chapter 7- Explaining

Cheryl's pov
Breathe just breathe Cheryl."why are you so nervous?She is your mate!" Betty said while Veronica wrapped her arms around the blonde "that's the point she is my mate and she hates me" I said as Sophie (my wolf) whined. We where stood out side of the white worm in the south side there was obviously a party going on inside as people with serpent jackets where coming in and out of the building very intoxicated and the loud music kinda gave it away. Me and the other two slowly walked into the bar and through the crowd to the bar tender "have you seen Toni topaz?" I asked shouting over the music "yeh she is over there with the boys" he shouted back and pointed to the other side of the bar I sighed but started to push through all the people with Betty and Veronica just behind me "there she is" Betty said and pointed over at the pool table I followed there gaze and I seen a very intoxicated Toni with her lips attached to another boy. We walked to the girl and my stomach was turning with everything step I took "tiny look" a different boy said eyeing the three of us up Toni detached herself from the boy and looked over at us when she realised who it was she left the disappointed boy and walked to us wobbling "hey B what you doing here?" She said wrapping her arms around the blonde and closing her eyes "am here for you T I think it's time we get you home" she whined and opened her eyes "nooo I don't want to go now am having fun" she said letting the girl go and falling back slightly but catching herself "sweets these three are with me don't worry will you go and get us more shots since I won the bet" she said grabbing the muscly man and leaning her head on his shoulder. "No more drink for you come on let's go" Betty said firmly but the man just looked down on her and said "you can't control her" Betty grabbed his shirt and brought him down to her size her eyes bright yellow "do you want to bet?" But within seconds Betty's hand was off the boy and Toni's hand was around her neck her eyes bright red "don't ever threaten my family like that" she growled at her best friend I had to quickly grab Veronica before thinks got out of hand "now ether get the fuck out or sit down and have a drink" Toni growled again and squeezed tighter on Betty's throat the girl nodded her head in fear and Toni lets her down "here tiny I saw that things where getting a little heated and thought these would help" a tall man said with a tray of shots and a sweet smile on his face "thanks fangs you're the best" she said grabbing the tray and walking back to her table "come on we should go" Betty said gently grabbing her throat but I didn't want to leave "you don't have to leave Cheryl you can stay and meet my family" Toni said with a smile I looked between Betty and my mate "just stay if you want to we will be fine" I nodded and give the two girls a goodbye hug then went and sat on the opposite side of Toni. "I will apologise to her when I can think straight tomorrow" Toni said giving me a shot and taking one for herself she smiled at me and drink the shot I waited to see her reaction before I let the burning liquid flow down my throat. After about nine more shots for Toni and five for me we where both wasted. am a light weight compared to most wolfs but it saves me money I guess even tho I haven't payed for these drinks yet "this is sweetpea but we call him sweets and this is fangs also known as fang" Toni said with a giggle making my heart skip a beat the two boys shook my hand and laughed "we know who you are" sweetpea said with a kind smile but a hard glare. "Why don't we go back to mine? This place is getting to loud and hot" Toni said leaning her head in my shoulder with a smile my heart almost fell out of my ass as she she interlocked our fingers. I panicked and jumped up out of my seat and said "am just gonna go to the bathroom" I said then I rushed away as quickly as possible. I looked at myself in the mirror and said "Toni is drunk and doesn't know what she is doing! Don't get excited Cheryl calm down" but I couldn't help but smile and I still felt Toni's hand wrapped around mine "hello gorgeous lady" a male voice said wrapping his arms around me. Am I in the men's bathroom? I tried to get out of his grip but I couldn't "let me go" I shouted but he only held me tighter "Toni! Help me!" I screamed as the man but his  hand over my mouth it wasn't there long and I saw Toni throw him into the wall her eyes red "sweets get her out of here now" Toni shouted staring down at the man the boy came to me and gently grabbed my hand and led me out the room "don't kill him Toni" sweetpea said before shutting the door I looked and it was the woman's bathroom. "I need to go back I can calm her down" I said as I was about to walk back but sweetpea easily picked me up and took me outside "you are staying here with me and I will take you both home" he said putting me in his truck and then getting in himself. We sat in silence staring at the doors to the bar for ten minutes before Toni walked out her eyes still red and what looks like blood dripping from her hand she got into the truck and looked at me with a worried look "did he hurt you?did he...you know?" She asked I shook my head and grabbed her hands fire works exploded in my stomach and my skin crawled at her touch. "Am fine this isn't my blood" she said pushing a piece of hair out of my face "thank you" I said looking at her in the eyes but my eyes automatically flickered from her eyes to her soft lips. Toni smiled then said "sweets take Cheryl to the pack house" she said as he started the truck. It didn't take long for us to get to the pack house "stay with me tonight?" I said getting nervous and expecting Toni to laugh at me but instead she nods and helped me out of the truck "thank you sweets I will see you tomorrow" after they said goodnight sweetpea drove away and me and Toni where left to try and get into the house and into bed without making a noise...this isn't going to work as we are both very intoxicated. As we where walking though the door Toni almost slipped but I caught her. Her eye are so light and bright you would melt just at the sight of them they are so gorgeous she smiled and and took a step back "thanks I should probably be more careful" she said as her eyes flickered from me to the floor then back. Toni topaz is one blessed woman when it comes to her looks seriously she is more then gorgeous. You would be stupid to think this girl is even close to bad looking and as she demonstrated how smart she is in lessons and I have to say she knows her stuff "hey you ok you just spaced out on me" Toni giggled "oh yeh sorry um let's get to bed" I said changing the subject and leading the confused girl up the stairs to my bedroom. "This is...wow" Toni said as she looked around at my room and at the drawings I have drew over the years "Toni I just want to say-" "I don't want to talk about it right now I just want to be with you" she said with a small shy smile I looked at her in shock as all the words left my head "ok" I answered and she interlocked our hands "we will talk all about it over pops tomorrow?" I choked on air when the words fell out of her perfectly shaped lips "sure-I mean-no-wait-yes! Yes...I would love that" I said stumbling over my words earning a cute giggle from the serpent. "You have a way with words red it's adorable" I blushed at the nickname I secretly loved making my wolf howl with happiness. "Come on red time to get some sleep we have a lot to talk about tomorrow" Toni laughed as her voice startled me out of my thoughts. I just watched as Toni took of her jeans and jacket leaving her in her button up and her underwear "see something you like blossom?" I didn't say anything I just slowly took off my leggings and tied up my hair I saw Toni look me up and down making me smirk "like something you see topaz?" I mocked "wait is that my shirt? Jug said he couldn't find it when he came to get my stuff" Toni said stepping closer to me with a confused look on her face "oh yeh sorry um you left and this is the only thing I had to remind me of your smell am so sorry" I said blushing she smiled then smirked "well I need it back!" I looked at her shocked and confused "like right now?" I asked and watching as she nodded I scrambled to try and get her shirt of but she immediately pulled it back on me when I looked at her confused I seen her beautiful red eyes looking angrily at me "I was joking! Are you crazy!? I can't control myself as much as you!" I smiled sweetly "we will work on your self control another day but for tonight make sure to keep your hands to yourself ok snake?" I said obviously teasing and flirting with the now smirking girl "no promises red" was her answer before she jumping into the bed and smiling innocently "god help me" I said to myself in my head as my wolf loved the sight of my mate in my bed half naked. We lay in bed in silence wide awake staring at the roof for ten minutes before Toni said something "I have one question that I need the answer too" she said my heart raced as I automatically got nervous "ok?" I answered waiting for her to ask the question "why did you like me before we even knew we where mates then treat me like shit?" she said turning to face me so I did the same and sighed "like I said my whole life I was told liking the same sex was disgusting and wrong and I didn't want to disappoint my family's name but that was only a small reason on why I treated you so bad...I was insecure. I looked at you and saw a beautiful,strong and loving woman that was going to rule the world but when I looked in the mirror all I saw was a disgrace,homosexual,horrid girl that was going to amount to nothing in her life. I was jealous. You had a best friend and I had friends I had to lie to fit in with they think am this bad ass that sleeps with loads of boys and goes to every party but in reality I have never done anything with anyone and when I go to party's I normally go to one of the rooms and draw" Toni was too silent for my liking but this time I had a question for her "did you actually try and kill urself because of me?" I asked quietly she nodded then said "Betty found me on my bathroom floor...I had taken to many tablets I don't know what they where I just know that I took over twenty and then things went black. I woke up in the hospital the next day...Betty told me what happened and I had to explain to my parents and her why I did it. I was done with walking down the school halls and everyone laughing at me or whispering things about things I never done like fuck Archie Andrews. I was done with living all because of you but I can remember telling them that I don't hate you or blame you. Am sorry for blaming you because it wasn't just you I was weak and you where the only person I could think of to blame." A tear slipped from my eye "it was my fault Toni I made you do that to yourself am so sorry you deserve a better mate!" I was about to leave but Toni pulled me back and straddled me "I was in love with you Cheryl" Toni said making me freeze in place and just stare at her in disbelief "I was in love with you from when I first saw you with your overalls and your stupid pink glasses. Your hair was in a braid that stayed on your shoulder you smiled showing of your braces your eyes where so bright and your laugh filled any room you walked into...I was in love with you Cheryl but when you first locked eyes with me you smiled at first then one of your friends nudged you then you grew angry and frustrated with me...I never knew why or what I had done wrong but in my head as long as you where happy I didn't care what you said or done to me! Because I loved you. Now that I think about it I don't think I tried to end my life because of the bad stuff you had done but because of the way I felt about you even tho you did all of this stuff to me" I cupped her face and said "you where wearing a bright yellow shirt with black and yellow checkered leggings your hair was down and you had black glasses on with a camera around your neck you had black vans in your feet and Betty was doing something stupid that made you laugh and I watched as you grabbed your stomach in laughter but when you stoped laughing and looked at me with a small smile my heart jumped out of my chest...I have been in love with you for years Toni" Toni smiled and looked down at her hands flat on my stomach "I forgive you Cheryl" she said staring into my eyes my wolf howled in excitement but sighed with reassurance. "I understand why you did what you did and I forgive you" Toni repeated mainly for herself then me. Toni smiled at me proud of herself and then leaned her head on my chest "thank you" I said in a whisper as I wrapped my arms around her slim body.
No one's POV
Toni and Cheryl stayed like this for hours just talking and getting to know each other more. Toni was finally accepting that her past bully was now going to be her future and Cheryl finally was accepting the fact that she was wrong for the way she has treated not just Toni but everyone she has ever known. The two girls didn't get any sleep but they didn't care as now they can say that they are proud to be each other's mate....
