The Reunion

"I'm sorry, but who are you?" Tony attaches his armor bracelet before calling his suit to him. "And why do you want to free Reindeer Games?"

"If you think we're freeing Loki, you've got another thing coming." Steve looked prepared for a fight.

"Many apologies, I guess I'll be leaving you then." Percy gave a little smirk and a half wave before disappearing on the spot.

"Did that actually work?" Tony spun in a circle, trying to see if had reappeared in a different part of the room.

"Seems a bit too e—" The alarms blared, cutting off the Captain. Everyone took off towards the cage, hoping to get there before Loki was let out. When they arrived, however, they looked at the scene in shock.

Loki was cowering in the side of his cage as the man leaned on the wall of the other side of the cage.

"Percy, I can explain!" Thor felt his jaw drop as he heard the fear in Loki's voice.

"Then you better start because I'm growing impatient, and we already have a few guests eavesdropping on this conversation." Percy lazily waved his hand, and the avengers found themselves bound and gagged, along with a knocked out Banner. Apparently this Percy knew what he was dealing with. Loki's eyes widened in surprise at the sight of this brother before turning back to Percy.

"Please, Percy, I tried so hard to fight, but he used the gem I couldn't—" Percy slammed his hand into the glass, sending cracks up and down the wall. They sat in silence for a few moments. Percy's ragged breathing filling the air.

"All you had to do was call for me! He had you locked away, out of my sight, but if you would called!" Percy turned and walked towards Loki, kneeing at his feet before continuing in a whisper, "I could have saved you."

"I'm so sorry, Percy. I know you would alway save me, but I was scared. Scared that I would've called for you, and you wouldn't bother to show up." Loki fell to his knees, and looked at the floor. Percy reaches out to lift his chin, and Thor gasped when he saw the tears freely flowing down Loki's face.

"I will always save you." Green eyes stared into green as Percy presses his lips to Loki's, shocking all the avengers, including an awoken Banner, into silence. "I swear it on the river Styx."
