"Mm-" Taehyung acknowledged as he turned to look at Jimin. "But it's okay, I understand. You must be busy with Jennie and all that... I'm not that petty, you know?"
"Thanks, dude-" Jimin smiled as he patted Taehyung on the shoulder. "Thanks for your understanding, really. But I just want you to know that no matter how important Jennie is to me, you'll always be my number one bro - you know that, right?"
"Of course-" Taehyung grinned as he turned to look up into the night sky. "Same for you - you're always my number one bro, bro."
Silence fell over the two as they stared into the sky, clearly enjoying each other's presence.
"You know... when I get married next time..." Jimin said after a while. "I want you to be the best man at my wedding."
"Suddenly?" Taehyung chuckled softly. "We're talking about marriage now?"
"Why not?" Jimin laughed. "We're both gonna get married eventually, some day, so we might as well make plans for that. Promise me, quickly."
"I can't promise you to be your best man, Jimin-ah," Taehyung said quietly. "But I'll be there at your wedding... I promise."

"You idiot, of course you'd be." Jimin rolled his eyes as he punched his best friend in the shoulder. "Do you really need to make a promise about such things? Why can't you be my best man though... I don't get it."
"Just..." Taehyung shrugged. "You know how unpredictable life is... you never know how life will turn out."
Jimin frowned. "You're speaking very weirdly right now."
