"You're actually the first person who has ever said that." Taehyung chuckled softly. "Everyone who sees the way we are in school... thinks that Kim Jisoo has a one-sided crush on me."
Jisoo had to smile a little, even in her sadness.
"And so what?" Seokjin sounded agitated, almost pissed. "What difference does it make?"

"But even if everyone thinks that way..." The smile on Taehyung's face could be heard in the recording. "Even if everyone thinks that Kim Jisoo is the only one crazy over me, at least I know that it's far from the truth."
Jisoo gasped softly, as she grabbed Seokjin's phone from his hands and increased the volume to the maximum. She couldn't get enough of his voice. It was impossible to describe how she felt in that moment as she sat there in the car, her heart racing at a million miles per hour.
"Well, Kim Taehyung-ssi, I don't really care-" Seokjin sighed exasperatedly. "I just want you to stay away from her-"
"Oh, of course you care," Taehyung said confidently. "I'm sure that deep down inside of you, you know that your fiancée has feelings for me and you're secretly dying to find out what's going on between us."
There was a long silence in the recording, as Seokjin was at an utter loss of what to say. In the car, as they listened to the recording, Seokjin fidgeted uncomfortably in his seat, watching Jisoo's expression carefully. He had listened to this recording he had retrieved from his car's blackbox over and over again since the day it happened. But with every listen, he felt more and more uneasy. And it was something... that had been tormenting him for years.

"Where do I get my confidence from?" Taehyung chuckled. "Must have rubbed off a bit of her energy, I guess."
