Taehyung looked down at the bruises on his arms and legs. He would have to hide those from Jisoo. And they hurt really badly too. But... she seemed like she really needed to see him. Taehyung hesitated for approximately three seconds.

Taehyung threw his phone to a side, put on a thick jacket and long pants to cover up his battle wounds. He applied some BB cream around his eyes, making sure he didn't look like he hadn't just cried, before heading down to meet Jisoo. When he reached downstairs, he saw that Jisoo was already standing by the lift, waiting for him. But she didn't look like her usual self - her eyes were puffy and it was obvious that she, too, had been crying for a long time.

Taehyung raised his eyebrows as he walked towards her. "Kim Jisoo-"
Jisoo looked up and spotted Taehyung and immediately, she ran into his arms, hugging him tight as she buried her face in his chest. Taehyung's held his hands up awkwardly, wincing a little due to the bruises on his body.
"Hey, Kim Jisoo?" Taehyung let out a nervous chuckle. "You okay?"
"Can we just stay like that for a while?"
"Um-" Taehyung hesitated, but finally relented as he recalled how unusually sad Jisoo looked just a few moments ago. His hands slowly landed on her back as he patted her gently, trying to cheer her up, even though he had no idea why she was acting this way. "It's okay, it's okay..."
Jisoo finally pulled away after a whole minute, forcing a smile as she looked up at Taehyung. "Thanks for coming down, I really needed to see you."
"Why?" Taehyung frowned as he awkwardly took his hands off Jisoo and placed them behind his back. "What happened?"

"Let's go over there," Jisoo said as she pointed at the bench out in the open, next to the playground.
She pulled Taehyung by his arm towards the bench, causing him to wince again in pain, but thankfully, she didn't realise. It wasn't something Taehyung was proud of, or wanted anyone to know about.
