Glancing around furtively, there was a man dressed in a black hoodie who was leaving the ballroom so quietly no one would usually notice if they didn't pay special attention. Jisoo's eyes widened as she kicked away her high heels and charged towards the door, running out into the hallway after him.
"Kim Taehyung!"
"The sooner you start using his name casually, the sooner you'll be able to patch up this hole you have in your heart," Dr. Min had told her. And he was right - Jisoo could finally cry out his name with ease, as if the spell had been broken.
"Kim Taehyung! Don't run away!"
Jisoo kept running. She ran and ran, out of the hotel, onto the streets... and she was still running. For how long, she did not know. And at which point Taehyung had disappeared, Jisoo also had no idea. But soon, she ran out of breath and stopped in the middle of nowhere, a mixture of sweat and tears dripping down her face.
"Kim Taehyung!" Jisoo sobbed as she turned around in circles, trying to find any trace of him, but to no avail. "Where are you, Taehyung-ah..."
"Jisoo-ya."
Jisoo's heart almost stopped as she turned around, wide-eyed, expecting to see the person she most wanted to see, not for days, or even for months - but years. "Taehyu-"
Jisoo's face fell. It wasn't him.

Seokjin stood before her, with an expression that looked like his heart was shattered into a million pieces as he scanned Jisoo from head to toe.
"Jisoo-ya..." Seokjin swallowed hard, shaking her gently by her shoulders as tears began to fall. "What are you doing...? Look at you..."
Seokjin was right - Jisoo's dress was dirty and torn, her bare feet were now cut and weathered by running on the streets without any care, her hair was in a mess and makeup was smudged. She looked like a train wreck.
"Jisoo-ya..." Seokjin sobbed softly, as he bent down and looked at the cuts on her feet. "Jisoo-ya... why are you doing this to yourself, huh? Can you tell oppa why?"
Jisoo just stared emotionlessly into space, unable to feel anything in that moment. She felt numb.
"Jisoo-ya..." Seokjin bawled, as tears fell down his face non-stop like a waterfall. "Do you know how much it pains me to see you like this?"
Seokjin's words pricked at Jisoo's heart. He was right. Her mom was also right. Everything she was going through... it wasn't just destroying herself, it was also slowly destroying the people around her and the relationships she used to have. It was Jimin and Jennie's wedding... but her outburst ruined the joyous occasion altogether.
