"Yeah!" Jisoo smiled happily as she waved the drawing in the air. "This is my first present from you!"
Taehyung couldn't help but laugh as he watched Jisoo being so excited over a mere drawing. "It's not a present though, it's just a mere doodle... Besides, you're an art student, bet my drawing skills are nowhere close to yours."
"Still, I really like it!" Jisoo admired the drawing with a twinkle in her eye. "Since it's from you! Thank you, Kim Taehyung~"
"Are you really that happy?" Taehyung snorted as he watched Jisoo take out her wallet and insert the drawing carefully with a happy smile.
"Mmhmm! It's my new favourite thing in the world-" Jisoo paused as she looked up at Taehyung. "But of course, that's because you're a human and not a thing. If not, it'd be my second favourite thing in the world, after you."
Taehyung had no idea how Jisoo could say such things without shrivelling up into a ball in embarrassment. He wasn't the one who said it, but he was already blushing so hard.

"Okay then-" Taehyung smiled as he headed towards the door once more. "See you, Kim Jisoo."
"Kim Taehyung!" Jisoo called out one more time before he could leave.
Taehyung clucked his tongue in annoyance, but he still turned back around anyway. "What is it?"
"Nothing-" Jisoo grinned as she waved her wallet with the drawing in it at Taehyung. "Just wanted to call your name one more time. Thank you for your present, see you tomorrow."
Taehyung scoffed as he turned away, a tiny smile playing at his lips as he walked away.
It was one of the rare days when Taehyung went home early, because it was a Friday, and he knew his dad wouldn't be at home because he'd be at the drinking tent near their house all night for their Happy Hour. Taehyung reached home in the late afternoon, took a quick shower and sat down at his table, before he began to complete his homework.
"There are many different types of functions, and polynomials are just one of them. There are also trigonome-" Taehyung stopped mid-sentence as he spotted some pencil scribblings in the corner of the page he was on. He leaned forward and squinted hard at the words, before finally managing to decipher what it said. "KTH ♥ KJS. KTH... Kim Taehyung. KJS-"
