"Oh, I see," Taehyung said, completely unsurprised. Jimin had been hovering around Jennie almost everyday lately, and of course he'd wanna get rid of Jisoo so that they could spend some alone time together. "Anyway, what's up?"
"Nothing-" Jisoo grinned at Taehyung. "I'm just really happy that I got to see you."
Taehyung bit his lower lip as he looked away. The conversation at the library they had had about a week ago left their relationship kind of ambiguous. Taehyung knew the message he was sending across - by telling her not to get engaged to her supposed fiancé, that could only mean one thing. But Taehyung wasn't sure either, what he meant. Did he really just not want her to get engaged to someone she didn't have feelings for? Or was it because...
"You like me, don't you?" Jisoo said with a knowing grin, as she twirled one of Taehyung's pencils between her fingers. She looked up at Taehyung, repeating herself once more with a more assertive tone this time. "You like me, Kim Taehyung. I know you do."

Taehyung raised his eyebrows in surprise. He had been surprised back then when this girl was confident enough to tell him to his face that she liked him, and now she was even confident enough to tell him that he liked her as if it was an actual fact? Taehyung was blown away.
"Wow, I'm curious-" Taehyung stared at Jisoo with a bewildered expression on his face. "Where do you get all this confidence from?"
Jisoo chuckled softly as she shrugged. "I don't know. But it's not blind confidence - I really do have this gut feeling that you like me."
Taehyung shook his head as he got to his feet. "I'm afraid your gut feeling is wrong."
"Eh... liar-" Jisoo grinned. "Kim Taehyung, I know you like me~"
"No, I don't-" Taehyung shoved his books and pencil case into his bag quickly, looking up at Jisoo with a serious expression on his face. "Wake up, Kim Jisoo-ssi."
"No, you do," Jisoo insisted as she smiled sweetly at Taehyung. "You say you don't, but everything else you do says otherwise."
"Why do I even bother arguing with you-" Taehyung shook his head as he slung his bag over his shoulder and headed towards the door. "You're a serious case."
