The officiant smiled. "Well, Park Jimin-ssi, you may now kiss the bride."
And Jisoo full on sobbed as she watched her best friend smooching the love of her life for the next ten seconds, amongst the loud cheering of everyone in the ballroom.
"Any last words before we officially start our wedding dinner?"

"Let me say a few words," Jimin said as he grabbed the mic from the officiant and turned to address the ballroom with a teary smile. "Good evening, everyone. Thank you for being here with us today, to witness the commitment of Jennie and my marriage. I say this on behalf of the both of us - that we really appreciate all of you being here with us to commemorate this beautiful milestone in our life. We would like to thank our parents, our friends and family. Thank you very much."
Jimin put down the mic briefly, as he bowed towards the audience, and Jennie did so too. Jimin stood upright once more, holding the mic to his lips as he scanned the crowd. His smile faded a little, and his lips trembled.
"I have something else to say to a very special person in my-" Jimin tried to carry on, but his voice only cracked when he did so. Only when Jennie took his other hand in hers and gave him a reassuring smile, Jimin finally managed to calm himself down enough to continue. "-in my life. He may not be here to listen to my speech, but I still want to say it anyway."
Jisoo knew at once who Jimin was talking about. This person he was referring to, Jisoo knew Jimin cared deeply about, and so did she, too. She had barely knew him for less than three months before he vanished and had already felt that much pain and loss, how much worse would Jimin, who knew him for the entirety of his life, feel? Jisoo knew, for sure, that if Jennie had disappeared into thin air, she'd be devastated too.

Jimin may have pretended to be strong in front of her all this while, for her sake, but this was his wedding after all. Who wouldn't have wanted their best friend to be their best man at their own wedding? Jisoo's heart broke as she watched Jimin struggle to put his thoughts into words. Next to her, Seokjin handed her his handkerchief, which she very gratefully received.
