"What do you mean?" Taehyung laughed. "Of course I am. One step closer to you and her getting married, and me becoming your master for one day."
"No, dude-" Jimin sighed. "I mean, yeah, that is one thing, but what I was trying to say was that- you know, Jennie is Jisoo's best friend... so if I get together with Jennie... basically your best friend's girlfriend's best friend is Kim Jisoo."
"Oh-" Taehyung smile faded, but he shrugged it off. "Don't worry, it doesn't really bother me."
"What's up between the two of you anyway?" Jimin had a concerned frown etched across his face. "I haven't seen the two of you together lately."
Jimin was right. Taehyung hadn't seen Jisoo since a week ago when they got into that squabble and Taehyung raised his voice at her. After that day, he kept on visiting the art room, but she stopped coming altogether.
For some reason Taehyung expected her to be there simply because she had told him that she would - but then again, that was before they fought. Taehyung didn't think that badly of the fight - he knew he was just taking out his anger on her for the life she had and that he'd never have.

But he never knew that she would have taken it this badly. And that she's stop coming to meet him altogether. It's not like Taehyung cared that much about what she thought of him, but he couldn't deny that it bothered him. And that every time he was there, he wouldn't look up expectantly when someone walked into the doors of the art room, or occasionally wonder what she was up to.
But that was just normal curiosity, wasn't it?
"It's nothing," Taehyung tried to brush the topic aside as he went back to his notes. "She just didn't come to class this week - probably busy, I suppose."
"Fair enough," Jimin said with a small shrug. "After all, she must be busy, now that she decided to fully accept the engagement to that... what was his name again? Ah- Seokjin sunbae-nim."
Taehyung stopped writing immediately. "What did you just say again?"
"Oh, are you not aware about it?" Jimin asked obliviously. "Jennie told me that Jisoo-ssi was still giving her engagement some thought, but suddenly decided to accept the engagement a week ago."
A week ago. That was exactly when they had got into that fight.
