Jisoo smiled and leaned in to blow gently at his wound, allowing the disinfectant to evaporate. Her eyes met Taehyung's at eye level, and for a few awkward seconds, the two stared deeply into each other's eyes. But finally, Taehyung looked away, and Jisoo did so as well, her cheeks slightly pink.

"I haven't help you put on the plaster yet."

"Oh-" Taehyung turned around and saw Jisoo holding up a plaster in her hands. "I can do that myself, thanks."

"I told you-" Jisoo pretended to busy herself with the first-aid kit as Taehyung put on the plaster she gave him. "I like you, Kim Taehyung. I come here everyday because I like you, and I'm gonna keep coming everyday from now because I like you. You can avoid me by not coming, but I'll always be here."

Taehyung stared at Jisoo for a few seconds, sizing her up. But finally, he looked away grimly. "The sooner you give up on me, the better."

Silence fell over the room. This was the first official rejection Taehyung had ever given Jisoo, since she had confessed her feelings for him two weeks ago. Jisoo's face fell as Taehyung's words hit her like a truck.

There was a crack in her voice when she next spoke. "W-Why? Why should I give up on you?"

"Haven't I made myself clear enough?" Taehyung said coldly as he reached into his bag and pulled out his sketchbook and art materials

"Haven't I made myself clear enough?" Taehyung said coldly as he reached into his bag and pulled out his sketchbook and art materials. "Do I really need to make myself clearer?"

Taehyung could see Jisoo nodding her head in the corner of his eyes.

"I'm not interested in you, Jisoo-ssi," Taehyung said, after some deliberation. "It's just as simple as that."

"Wait-" Jisoo bit her lower lip, as the tears instantly sprang to her eyes. "You really... don't like me?"

"Yup-" Taehyung began sketching at his sketchbook nonchalantly, even though in his mind, all he was thinking in that moment was whether Jisoo was going to cry. "I really don't like you... in that way."

"But you haven't even given me a chance yet?" Jisoo pouted. "How do you know you don't like me?"

"I don't need to do that to know," Taehyung said coldly as he mindlessly shaded at his sketchbook. "I just don't, okay?"

"If you really don't like me..." Jisoo's voice was softer than usual. "Then why do you keep coming here everyday, even when you know I'm here? Wouldn't you wanna avoid me if you don't reciprocate my feelings?"

Jisoo's words stumped Taehyung for a whole minute. He sketched frustratedly at his sketchbook, but his mind was never on drawing in the first place.
