Taehyung smiled a little, recalling what Jisoo had said to her a few days ago. She had confessed straight to his face that she liked him, and that kind of made Taehyung happy somehow... definitely not that he liked her back or anything. Definitely not. But... Jimin was right about her feelings.
"Mmhmm," Taehyung hummed, trying not to smile. "What about it?"
"Well, I'm afraid I have to take that back, homie." Jimin patted Taehyung on the shoulder in an attempt to console him. "She has a fiancé, dude. I'm so sorry to bring your hopes up only to crush them like that."

Taehyung looked up at Jimin, his eyes wide open. "What?"
"I'm sorry, Taehyung-ah..." Jimin sighed. "I should have double-checked before I told you she was single. Turns out she has a whole fiancé and I didn't know just because she never posted a single thing about him on social media before. I wonder why... but anyway, that's not the point."
"Who is he?" Taehyung raised his eyebrows. "I mean, not like it really matters much to me... but just out of curiosity, you know."
"It's okay, dude, you don't need to justify your interest in her-" Jimin patted Taehyung on the back as he took a seat on a bench by the path. "You can't help but be attracted to her, I understand. But she has a fiancé now, so don't get in their way now, you understand? I will not accept a home-wrecker as my buddy."
"Cut the crap-" Taehyung rolled his eyes as he took a seat next to Jimin on the bench. "Who is he?"
"Kim Seokjin-" Jimin said simply. "I heard this from Hoseok-hyung though, so take it with a pinch of salt."
"Isn't information from Hoseok hyung always quite reliable though?" Taehyung raised his eyebrows, thinking of their friend, a third year student from the Drama & Theatre Arts department of their school. "That time, about the free nuggets day in school, and the 1-for-1 deal at McDonalds... he's never failed us before."
