"Okay, very good, Jisoo-haksaeng." Namjoon gave Jisoo an approving nod and smile. "I'll take note of you from now. An Art major who is highly passionate about Mathematics. Very good."
Jisoo smiled as she slowly took her seat, not forgetting to flash a little smile at Taehyung before turning back to the front and listening attentively to the rest of the class. For the rest of the lesson, for some reason, Taehyung couldn't wipe her smile out of his mind. Her smile just looked so pure, so enthusiastic and filled with so much passion to learn. Taehyung had realised she was different in so many areas since day one, but even her smile... it just hit different.
Taehyung finally snapped back to attention when the class was finally over, and the students were streaming out of the lecture hall. Jennie got up from her seat and headed towards the door, without even waiting for Jisoo, looking a little annoyed. Jimin turned around and mouthed "fighting" at Taehyung, before running out of the lecture hall after Jennie.

"What's he up to?" Jisoo raised her eyebrows as she watched Jimin intently. "Is he... hitting on my friend?"
"Well, I'm afraid so-" Taehyung laughed apologetically. "Please tell her I'm sorry. She looked so done with him that she didn't even wait for you."
"No, it's fine-" Jisoo said with a shrug and a small smile. "I told her not to wait for me, after all."
"What?" Taehyung frowned. "Why?"
"Well..." Jisoo shrugged. "I don't know, maybe so that I can talk to you more?"
Taehyung froze up at once. "Oh, really."
"By the way," Jisoo carried on, unaware how stiff Taehyung had become all of a sudden. "Why did Jimin-ssi mouth 'fighting' at you earlier before he left? Do you have a test after this or something?"

"Oh, no-" Taehyung pursed his lips, deciding impromptu to test the waters. "No, actually. He thinks you have a crush on me, that's why he's acting so weird. Crazy, I know."
"Well..." Jisoo pursed her lips. "I do, actually."
Taehyung's eyes widened.
"I'm actually really fond of you, Taehyung-ssi. He's not crazy, but actually kinda right." Jisoo laughed nervously. "Crazy, I know."
"Oh."
Taehyung felt his face become hot all of a sudden. He had many admirers before, but having a girl tell him directly to his face that she liked him... without looking embarrassed or anything. She just did it all so... naturally. And that made Taehyung the embarrassed one, for some reason. He wrecked his brain for something to say, but he couldn't think of anything. But thankfully, she spoke next - again, very naturally.
"Anyway, I gotta go now-" Jisoo smiled as she picked up the photo of them with the penguin and got to her feet. "I can take this photo, can I?"
"O-Oh, right-" Taehyung smiled nervously, trying his best not to stutter but failing miserably. "Of course, I mean, yeah, s-sure."
