"Your friend?" Taehyung gestured towards the front where Jimin sat. "You mean... her?"
"Omo-" Jisoo gasped as she looked at Jennie who was evidently keeping her distance away from Jimin, who looked a bit too excited to meet her for the first time. "I brought her here just to sit in for one lesson, what is she doing over there with your friend- ah, what was his name again?"
"Jimin, Park Jimin-" Taehyung said softly as Kim Namjoon, the calc professor, walked into the lecture hall at that very moment. "I think he told you his name the last time though?"
"Oh, right- Park Jimin-ssi, of course." Jisoo laughed shyly. "Sorry, it's because I was too focused on you back then so I didn't really hear him that well. It's okay, now I'll remember - Park Jimin-ssi."
Focused on me, Taehyung thought, raising he raised his eyebrows in surprise. But he brushed the thought aside, because perhaps she meant exactly what it meant on surface level - maybe she was indeed too focused on him to pay attention to what Jimin had to say. Not the way Jimin would have insisted it meant.

Taehyung flashed Jisoo an awkward smile, before the lesson began.
"Today, we'll be learning about the behaviour of different graphs in a 2-dimensional plane. When we talk about the interaction of two straight lines in a 2-dimensional plane, what comes to mind? We can only get lines that intersect at one point or parallel lines that don't intersect at all, am I right?"
"Wrong, sir."
Taehyung raised his eyebrows as he turned to look at Jisoo, clearly taken aback by how outspoken she was. No one usually really spoke during a lecture, so the fact that she dared to do this, especially as an Arts student in a Math lecture... that was impressive.
