"Be cautious" my boy said. Tony's been my boy for as long as I could remember. Homeboy and I been through a lot now that I think about it. Through thick and thin, Tony had my back without question.

Those words kept playing in my head like a record as I walked from his house to mine. As I get closer to home, my phone goes off
"Hello" I said
"Hey baby, how are you?" Ari said
Ari has been my girl for a couple months now and I'm really feeling her. She's also the one my boy keeps warning me about. As we continued to talk, she asked,
"Babe, can I ask you something?"
"What's up? I said
"So my hair got messed up and I was wondering if you could get it done for me? She said
I looked at my phone as if what I just heard was not real
"I jus spent a stack on ya hair last week shawty! Whatchu mean get it done?! You bugging out for real"

Now this ain't the first time this happened. Ari has been asking to buy her things non-stop ever since I got promoted at UPS. Now that I was doing deliveries, she must have known a nigga was getting payed. Later that day, I pulled up on my boy and asked
"Ayo, whatchu think bout Ari?"
As he takes a hit from his joint he says
"She's a gold digger my nigga"
I looked at him with a straight face and said
"I wanna test her and I want you to catch her slippin"
Tony looked at me and started laughing. He shooked his head and continued smiling
"What's so fuckin funny?" I asked
"I thought you was down bad for shawty. How come the change of heart?" He said
Now that question was hard for me to answer. As I start to think for a response, my phone goes off
"It's Ari" I said
"Oh word? Say no more. Give me your phone and shut the fuck up" Tony said
"Nah nigga! Not now"
Tony ripped the phone from my grip and answered. At this point, I was so nervous and didn't know what to do. So I just sat quietly as Tony puts the phone on speaker and starts to speak
"Hello" Ari said
In the smoothest voice, Tony replies
"Hey, Ari right?"
"Yes, who am I speaking too?" Ari asked
"My name is Tony and I'm a friend of Marcus's. He left his phone at my house and I was on my way to bring it back to him"
"Oh okay, nice to meet you Tony"
As a little time goes by, Tony continued choppin it up with her. He was bussin corny ass jokes and she was laughing. I clenched the fuck outta the chair I was sitting in and Tony noticed. As he continues talking to her, he grabbed my attention, and winked. Now to Tony and I, whenever we winked at each other, it was to let the other know that "This is it". He goes on and asks her
"Whatchu doing this weekend"
"Nothing, just hanging with Marcus" she said
Tony says
"Well Marcus and I are going to a big ass party that's happening downtown on Saturday. Wanna tag along?"
At first, she starts second guessing
"Well, I'd have to talk to Marcus about it. I know you're his boy and all but I gotta get that approved from him"
Tony says gently
"That's cool. Just keep me posted. Here's, my number"
She takes his number and Tony hung up the phone. As Tony turns to face me, he starts laughing again. Now, I'm thinking this nigga is just high as fuck and can't control himself. Then he said
"This is going to be fun"
Part II
"Ring ring"
"Who is this" I said
"Wake the fuck up nigga!" Tony Screams
It's about 8 in the morning. Today is Saturday and I had no plans with this guy. Sometimes i think to to myself "how the fuck do I deal with his ass". While on the phone, Tony goes on about how his dukes woke him up for no reason. As he continues to run his mouth, I slowly started going back to sleep.
"Ring ring"
"Ayo bum, it's about time for the party" Tony says
"What are you talking about" I asked
"And I need you to tell Ari you're not coming"
I jumped out of bed in shock. I looked at the time and it was already 8 at night. I started cussin at him for not waking me up and reminding me about the party
"I aint ya daddy nigga" Tony said and laughed
Then I asked
"Why am I tellin her I'm not coming? You not fuckin wit me right?"
Ayo shut yo dumb ass up! You wanna catch her ass right?" Tony said
I felt a little stupid low-key. I went on my phone and searched for Ari's name. As i am about to call her, my phone rings.
"Hey babe"
"I was just about to call you" I said
"Awe that's cute" she giggled
"Chill out shawty" I said
Then she asked
"So you're boy, Tony, told me that you guys were going to a party tonight. Can I come too?"
Nervously, I responded
"Yeah you could go. But babe, I won't be there so it'll just be you and Tony. Is that cool with you?"
Without hesitation, she answered
"Oh okay"
'Click'
Now that right there raised my suspicious about shawty. As much as I didn't want to believe it, I knew something was off about her. Now as time goes by, my phone started blowing up with messages. When I checked, they were all voice recording from Tony. As I listened to them, I started to get more and more irritated as the conversations got worst and worst. Finally, as I got to the last voice note, everything became clear to me
"Hey, you wanna get outta here? I got a beach house out by the ocean" Tony said
"A beach house?! I'm there. I've always wanted to stay in one" Ari said
Tony continues
"Well if you were with me, I'd change your life for real"
"Is that so" said Ari
"Yes ma'am" Tony added
After hearing all of that, I got up in an uproar and started fuckin my place up. Breaking shit, slamming doors, you name it. I couldn't believe Ari would actually fall for this. As I continued to ruin everything in my way, my phone goes off. As I checked, I noticed it was a video from Tony. While playing the video, I noticed that there was a Sunset red Ferrari and Ari was sitting in it. Then I receive another text saying
"Ayo bro, I got her ass good. She's a gold digger and she's willing to let me fuck too. Whatchu want me to do? Your call...
