Finally he confesses

SERENA'S PROV
We were running towards the next gym and contest Sara said she couldn't wait.
"Can we (gasp) slow down?" lance asked
I smirked
"NEVER!!!!!" Sara yelled from way ahead.
Then there was a bright light getting out of the forest an finally we were at Erctuteak city.
"Sweet city air!!!" Sara said
I giggled at her weirdness she must have learned it from mew.
"I can read your thoughts SERENA!!!"
Mew yelled that last part for me. It spooked me and I fell I couldn't see mew though?
"What..wait but mew....WHAT!!!"
I kinda freaked
"Mews invisible only I can see her Serena." Sara said
"Oh..." I started
"Hehehehe" mew giggled
"Let's go battle the gym Kevin!" Jake said excitingly who began to dash off "WAIT!!!!!" we all stopped and turn to Sara. She grabbed her phone
"No time I have to sign up for my contest it starts in 24 hours." she said
She dashed off leaving us in the dust.
After standing there for like 5 minutes we dashed after her. She was at the pokemon center talking to someone.
He was an adult I think he had a pale creamy colored hair, he has white skin, he was wearing a purple head band, a black shirt, purple pants, and blacks shoes. She was smiling big and then he walked off while she waved.
"Who was that?" Jake asked as we walked up to Sara.
"He's the gym leader!" she said smiling
"And you talked to him without hesitation?" Lance asked
"No I didn't even talk to him at the beginning he just helped me into the contest." she said still smiling
Jake growled to himself making me smirk more then I already was. Then I notice a paper on the pokemon center wall. I walked up to it.
"Um...Sara..." I said
SARA'S PROV
"Um...Sara..." Serena said
"Yesssss?" I asked in like a snake like voice. She pointed at the paper
"WE NEED PARTNERS!!!!!!"
I screamed
"That's explains the number." I said
Then I turned to everyone they fell anime style. I giggled at Jake he had the weirdest look on his face.
"Well I know that I'm #35." I said
"How about we get a room to rest for the night while you train with Jake?" Serena said
I was gonna protest but she grabbed Kevin and Lance dragging them to nurse joy. I sighed and look at Jake he was blushing but looked mad.
"Shall we go..." I said doing a hand motion
He hide his blushing and we left to the forest.
We found a cute little place it had a river and one side was dirt the other grassy. We trained for a couple of hours till thinking the pokemon needed a break. I gave the pokemon food and set up a picnic. I looked up to see Jake playing with Blue and Kurio. It was really cute I was watching him blushing in my thoughts. Not realizing that he notice. He smirked
"Whatcha staring at?"
I blushed more
"Um....my pokemon if it's not obvious"
I said while rolling my eyes trying to hide my blush.
"Whatever you say Sara."
After like 20 more mins I finally made me and jakes food. The pokemon finally decide to eat I guess they wanted to eat in a group.
Me and Jake were quiet just eating our peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
"Well we should train soon."
Jake said while chewing the rest of his sandwich.
"Don't talk with your mouthful." I said
"You sound like mew from yesterday."
He said
"Yeah well she's right about it." I said
"Plus don't you have room for dessert?" I asked while pulling out a 2 brown bags. One filling with brownies the other Oran Berries cookies. He smiled and snatched a bag. I glared at him
"Wait the pokemon may want some."
He rolled his eyes
"The pokemon want brownies right?"
He asked
They all shot him weird looks. I passed out the Oran berry cookies.
I sat back down and we had brownies.
There was one left I snatched it from him smiling.
"Give me the brownie Sara."
"Nope your gonna have to come and get it." I said while running away
"Get back here!"
I just kept dodging him till he fell to his left knee all of a sudden. I panicked
"OH my gosh are you ok?!" I asked bending down to make eye contact.
He smirked then in a blink of a eye I was pinned to the ground my hands above my head. I blushed like mad Jake hovering above me.
With Jake other hand he grabbed the brownie and are it. I glared at him
(still blushing)
"YOU TRICKED ME!!!!!" I yelled
"It worked well too." he said smirking
He went to my ear
"The brownie was good but I know what's better."
I got kinda scared for a minute to respond
"Um..whats better?"i asked
"Your lips."
With that he kissed me gently
I blushed like crazy he moved both his hands to my waist. I wrapped my arms around his neck. We kissed for a while but I didn't want this I didn't want this relationship right now what if it effects our friendship with the others. What if team rocket uses it against him to hurt him or me?
I'm not ready for a relationship yet.
I pushed Jake off. He looked surprise and hurt. I looked down tears in my eyes. I didn't want to hurt him I truly like him.....maybe even love him but things are crazy right now. I don't want him hurt from me but I can't. I'm not ready. I got up grabbed my bag and looked at Jake. The pain on his face killed me I had tears flowing down my face
"Sara I...I didn't-
But I ran before he could finish my pokemon hot on my tail I hide behind a tree. Grabbed my hoodie and put it on.
I then went to the pokemon center and went to my room. Before I walked in Serena stopped me
"Sara where's Jake?" she asked
"Um....(sniff) I went ahead (sniff)." I said trying to hide that I cried.
"Sara are you crying?!" she asked
"No...Just leave me alone!!" I nearly yelled and dashed into my room followed by my pokemon. I changed I to a black tang top and blue shorts. About to bust into tears I looked at the floor towards my bag and saw my neck lance the one I had my whole life. I cried
I wasn't ready
I'm sorry I'm just not ready. To get over the past
