"Told you, physics" Mike breathed out while Clove wrapped a arm around his waist as Jonathan and Nancy ran to get the cable out of the car

"What's she doing?" Max asked, catching Clove and Mikes attention to see El digging through the trash

"El, are you okay?" Mike asked as the trio approached the girl who was staring intensely at the Coke can, El looked back at them while Max frowned her eyebrows and looked upwards

"Guys" Max said making them all look up to see something walking on top of the malls glass ceiling

"Oh god" Clove said with wide eyes

"Nancy!" Mike shouted as he grabbed El while the four ran off quickly right before the mind flayed crashed through the ceiling. The four hid behind a food cart as the mind flayer walked past them toward the sound of Dustin's voice coming through on the walkie talkie. Clove slapped her hand over her mouth when she heard the Mind Flayer above them, Mike squeezed her hand tightly with wide eyes

"It's turned away, if we go up the stairs now, we'll make it" Mike whispered to the three girls

"What? No way not with El's leg" Max shook her head at him

"We have to try" Mike whispered back

"Mike" Clove whispered to him with wide eyes

"There's another way to get out, through the gap" El whispered while looking over at the store that was only a few feet away from them

"Okay. Now" Mike said as the four ran over before El bumped into something, knocking it down, making the Mind Flayers loud screech's come toward them. The four hid behind a rack of clothes while gaping at the mannequin that flew past them. One of its many claws went right past where they were hiding before a ballon pop made it retreat backwards

"Let's go" Mike said while they ran toward the exit, crashing through it at full speed as they continued to hold onto each other

"Shit" Max said as the four walked outside to see the car gone but Billy climbing out of his

"Go go go" Mike said as they turned around quickly and ran back in the mall

"Just hang on a little longer El" Clove said to the girl who was whimpering in pain

"Okay cmon" Mike said while he pushed the button for the elevator over and over again while Max moved to look past the hallway

"Billy" Max whispered, making the three turn around quickly

"Billy you don't have to do this. Billy, your names Billy Hargrove we live down Cherry lane please I-" Max's began but was cut off by Billy hitting her over the head as her body feel unconscious

"Hey!" Clove yelled while running toward him and got a good punch in before her head was slammed against the metal wall and everything feel black

"Clove! Clove wake up" Max shook her girl awake

"Max?" she whispered while grabbing her throbbing head

"You okay?" Max asked and before Clove could answer, she saw Mike still passed out

"Mike? Hey Mike, wake up" Clove shook him as he began to groan

"Hey" she smiled while grabbing the sides of his face as his eyes squinted

"Cmon, you okay?" Max asked as the two girls helped him stand as he nodded in a daze

"Where's El?" Mike asked as Cloves eyes widened while they all ran off. By the time they got back to the middle of the mall, they saw Billy standing up with El still on the ground as he looked toward the large mind flayer infront of him, the fireworks going off around them. It's large mouth suddenly shot straight at El

"Eleven!" Clove shouted while running toward her as Billy grabbed the Mind Flayers mouth, stopping it before it could reach El. Clove got to El's side as the Mind Flayers many claws pierced Billy's body one by one as he yelled out in pain

"Billy!" Max screamed as the sharp end shot straight into her step brothers chest. Cloves eyes widened as she watched him fall to the ground, the Reyes girl quickly went to the limb boys side and tried to stop the bleeding but, only resulted in his blood coating her hands as the Mind Flayer suddenly feel over, they closed the gate.

"Billy" Max repeated while kneeling next to her girlfriend and looked down at the older teens barely alive body as he chocked on his own blood

"I'm sorry" he chocked out before he took his final breath

"Billy wake up, Billy cmon" Max cried while shaking him

"Max" Clove whispered while grabbing her hands as the redhead cried into her shoulder as Clove rocked her softly, letting her own tears fill up her eyes at Max's pain.

The teens made it outside in the pouring ran as Clove sighed in relief as she saw her parents running toward her, beat up and bloody faces.

"Mom Dad" she called out as they hugged her, crying themselves

"What happened? Are you hurt?" Levan asked while looking at Max, who was still wrapping around Clove. Clove made eye contact with her parents as they sighed and hugged them both tightly

"You okay?" Her uncle asked while walking up to them, Clove let go of Max as her parents comforted her as Clove wrapped her arms around her uncle

"Are you okay? Is everyone okay?" Clove asked while hugging him

"Not all of us" he whispered as Clove pulled away in confusion before looking over and seeing El fall to her knees in cries. She realized Hopper was nowhere in sight. You'll be missed Hopper... that's all Clove could think about in those moments. You will be missed.
