Hiccup's POV:
I was at Gothi's house and I couldn't do anything but wait. A few hours later she appeared and beckoned me to follow. I followed her into a small room at the back of the house. There on the bed lay a pale white Astrid covered with blankets. I had gone back for my clothes while I was waiting. Gobber was there to translate the scribbles that Gothi used to communicate. He looked down for a few minutes before all the colour in his face drained out.
"She says that if not treated, Astrid will die!" he said trying not to cry.
"Wha-what?" I asked in utter belief.
"Yes, she said that there is a special yak..." he said before he got a staff to the head.
"Oh, sorry I mean flower that doesn't grow 'ere Hiccup and she needs it to survive!"
"But, OK where do I find this plant?"
"On Anchor tribe soil!"
"Oh no! Spear's tribe!"
"Yip, so I guess you better say your goodbyes she only has two days to live!" Gobber said walking out the door.
I'm not giving up on you Astrid!
I walked over to the bed she was laid on. I gently picked up her hand and kissed it.
"I know you can pull through Astrid! Please Skye needs you, Stormfly needs you, I need you!" I said as a tear fell down my cheek.
"I will pull through, for you!" Astrid said quietly.
"Astrid, may I ask you a question?"
"Yes anything babe!"
"Can we move the wedding to tonight? I want to be married to you if you die," I said, stroking her hair.
"Hiccup, I...I...yes!"
"I'll help you home and then I'll send my mom to you and all the people that were going to help you!"
"We're getting married!" she whispered, a giant smile on her face.
"We're getting married!" I repeated.
I placed a gentle kiss on her forehead and helped her up. Gothi opened the door for us to get out. I wrapped Astrid in the blanket and picked her up. I carried outside after saying thank you to Gothi. I dropped her at her house and flew to my mom and all the women helping her.
Finally she will be my beautiful wife!
