You're a maid. Recently, you've been looking for new work and heard talk of a job opening in the town you've been going through. Along with the job opening, you've heard the rumors surrounding your soon-to-be boss.
You will be working for [Crush], a very rich, but lonely person. They are an infamous scholar whose work is known throughout the region and owns a large house outside of town. Their spouse also passed away a few years ago and has made them very closed off. However, a job's a job and you accepted the position.
The man who told you of the position was a friendly old gentlemen, James, who seemed to be [Crush]'s only remaining friend. He even helped you bring your belongings to the room in the house where you'll be staying.
James was leaving the house wishing you luck when you first met [Crush], your new boss, face to face.
They came down the staircase with a drink in their hand and looked you over with a stern gaze.
