It was late at night and Taylor was laying in her bed.
Taylor then heard the floorboard creak outside her door.
The door was pushed open and Karlie pushed in her head.
"Hey you still up?" Karlie whispered to Taylor.
"I'm scared" Karlie rushed to Taylor's bedside.
Taylor sat up and let Karlie sit beside her.
She embraced Karlie and didn't let go.
"What's wrong? Was it a bad dream?" Taylor worries.
Karlie begin to sob.
"Hey everything's gonna be okay, you're safe and no one is around" Taylor assures her.
Karlie was catching her breath.
"Wanna tell me what happened?"
Karlie sniffled and then she told Taylor
"I had a nightmare"
Taylor wanted to know what it was that made her sad.
"What happened in your dream?" Taylor asked.
"You were gone. And the farm was gone and Bambi and Wallace...everyone was gone and I had nothing"
Karlie started to get sad again.
Taylor didn't want her to cry again so she rubbed her shoulder and talked to her.
"It's okay it's okay! No one left, we are all here right? Bambi and Wallace are here. We are on the farm aren't we? And I'm here..."
Karlie started easing up and the tears stopped.
I'm that moment Karlie felt safe in Taylor's arms. She began to relax and stop sniffling.
Taylor was glad she was able to comfort her.
Karlie told Taylor
"You're the best thing that's happened to me and I don't want to loose you or everything that I have right now"
Taylor responded
"You won't, nothing is gonna happen and you don't have to worry. You'll be okay and nothing is leaving."
Taylor hugged her and she didn't want Karlie to be alone
"You want to sleep with me tonight?"
Karlie nodded yes and Taylor laid down and Karlie laid next to her.
"Thank you" Karlie whispered and kissed her on the cheek.
Taylor blushes.
"Goodnight"
"Goodnight"
