The cat boy snarled and got back into his pouncing position, "Hisashi Nekura, remember my name after I defeat you, Shizuo Akiro."
So this guy goes to the Dark Hearts Academy... Why would they launch an attack on us now? And just when I thought that we would be able to start getting along...
Hisashi pounced forward with his left hand extended out for me while his right stayed at his hip, I didn't feel like taking my sword out unless he did so I decided to start off this fight with solely my own two hands.
As he approached, I dashed in towards him as well. Once within his range, he thrust out his right arm and made an attempt to slash at me with his right claw. His move was too obvious, he had extended his left hand so that he could later on pull it back to use as momentum for a strike with his dominant hand. This guy might not be as skillful as I hoped.
I deflected his right claw with my left arm off to the side and brought it back to my waist, where a ball of red flame formed in my palm as I leaned into Hisashi and uppercutted up into his jaw, throwing his head back. With his chest fully exposed, I, with the advantage of being both right and left handed, leaned into him again with my left side and thrusted my left palm into the core of his chest, unleashing the ball of flame, rocketing him back into a the stump of a thick tree 20 feet behind him. The tree snapped and began to fall backwards (from my perspective).
Hisashi sat up from inside of the snapped tree trunk and cracked his neck as he nonchalantly got up and began walking towards me, unfazed. How could he take that combo without showing any signs of damage, big or small?
Hisashi pounced forwards again with his claws extended slightly longer than before. I stepped forwards twice and lunged in to meet him.
He raised his right claw and, once in range, began to bring it down to my left shoulder, snarling while doing so.
I, luckily having a longer arm's reach, held up my left hand and caught Hisashi's before his claws could reach my shoulders. I initiated a combo that I had developed last year during the second semester.
I pulled him towards me with my left hand and and then landed a solid punch to his neck with my right, an almost certain KO, or even death, and then grabbed onto the collar of his shirt with my right hand, giving him backwards momentum. I pulled him back again with my right hand and palmed him in the chest with my left hand to knock the wind out of him, I quickly readjusted my hands so I held his shoulders. I brought him into me, again, stepped forward with my left leg, and kneed him in the same spot with my right knee. I let go of him and he began to stumble backwards, somehow maintaining consciousness.
As he stumbled backwards, I planted my right foot down and spun my body to the left, where I jumped up and, planting my left leg down first, kicked the (left) side of Hisashi's face with my right foot. As he fell to his right (my left), I re-planted my right leg and swung around my left leg, skillfully forcing my body to shift it's left-bound momentum, to kick his right side. Having applied the right forces to my kicks, his body moved neither to the left or right and he, temporarily, just stood still.
Then, I crouched and leaned back on my right leg, brought my left knee up to my chest, and kicked upwards into Hisashi's chin to send him flying upwards, his body arcing backwards while doing so.
And lastly, I sprung up on my right leg alone and appeared right over the arced body of Hisashi, I swiftly unsheathed my sword and in one, fluid motion, sliced down, from what I could feel, deeply, diagonally across his chest (from the top-right part of his chest to the bottom-left from my perspective).
Hisashi hit the floor with his eyes closed and I landed with my legs on either side of his body. I stepped back from where he lay and sheathed my sword.
