The explosion went off shortly after I had dropped off the now-conscious, but still too weak to move, Mizu at his dorm.

I could hear people, namely girls, yelling outside of the dorm halls and in the upper commons and rushed out to see what had happened. There was a large portion of the ceiling above the upper commons missing and had collapsed onto the ground, which was luckily unoccupied when the ceiling had fallen.

I looked up at the giant 50-foot long gap created in the ceiling just in time to see two figures take off, a small-winged girl holding the a male from under her arms. The two just left and I was quick to take off after them.

I sprouted my large, white "angel" wings and took the the sky right after them. The flyer flew pretty fast despite having to carry somebody else. I, despite being quite quick, if I may say so myself, was unable to even keep up with them.

Fortunately, the demon of wind, Keita, that is, burst out from the nearby forest (don't know what he was doing there) and collided into the two aggressors. The female dropped the male and he began to fall.

Upon getting a closer look, I could see that the female had light brown-orangish colored hair with blonde hair as well draping from around the sides of her head and from the back. Her eyes, even from a distance of 30 feet I could tell, were a deep, radiant aquamarine color that was enhanced with black eyeliner. She wore a matching aquamarine-colored sport jacket, like you see soccer moms wear during the winter I guess, and a pair of black leggings. Upon getting tackled in midair, she spun out of control temporarily, regained her balance, and started backing away from Keita, who threateningly had rolled up the sleeves of his grey dress shirt.

I was unable to make out much of the falling male, other than that he had the same type of colored hair as the girl and had cat ears. He wore a light brown jean jacket, had a white bandana around his neck, and wore black jeans. A typical sword was also strapped onto his back.

He, luckily, landed into a clearing in the forest and immediately looked up at me expectingly. I decided to meet his challenge and started to descend. I looked over at Keita one more time to see him talking to the girl in a composed manner.

C'mon Keita, now isn't the time to be flirting... I jokingly thought to myself, knowing Keita to probably not even understand the concept of flirting.

As I touched down in from of the feline male, I was able to make out that he was of high school age, probably a senior. He was crouched over slightly with his arms at his side and his palms facing up, small claws forming from his fingers. He smirked, just enough for me to see that he had, like a cat, protruding canines. He was positioned just like a cat waiting to pounce.

My wings shattered into a white dust as I cleared my throat in an attempt to keep down my anger, I balled my fists and spoke to the aggressor, "Wh..." Unable to the speak clearly due to anger, I stammered with my words, "... What did you do to my school?"

The feline male replied coolly, "Ah... Shizuo Akiro, this is quite fortunate for me! I can't wait to tell my fellow students back at DH how I defeated the GATE Academy's star student!" he said, raising his hands up in the air and laughing triumphantly as if he had already won.

My anger subsided quickly as I began to see this situation in a new aspect. He was no longer challenging the school, but now, me. Now that I saw it this way, I would be able to analyze the situation with a more level head. His defeat was certain: Nobody crosses Shizuo Akiro without paying in the price.

"I'm not even going to ask why you did what you did. I'm just going to beat your a** here and have the interrogators back at school get some answers out of you."
