Chapter 32: Kaiser

"Is it finally time, little brother?..."

Kaiser brought himself up into a kneel with his head bowed and lowered.

Keita clenched and held his fists up defensively.

"Yes, Kaiser, the hour of your defeat is here."

"Hour of my defeat? You're going to need a lot more than just an hour..." Kaiser raised his head, "... Keita."

Keita sprang forward and slashed his right hand down diagonally, letting out three lashes of thick, vibrant electricity. Kaiser literally caught the tendrils of lightning with his left hand and short them back at Keita through his index finger. Keita made an "X" shape with his arms to block the blast, but Kaiser Folded in front of him and punched directly where Keita's arms crossed.

The force of Kaiser's blow forced Keita back several feet, but with his resilient defense, Keita held his defensive position. Kaiser Folded in front of Keita again and started to carry out another right punch, the same as before. Keita caught his brother's attack with his right hand, but Kaiser had seemed to anticipate the block and carried out a perfect counter.

Kaiser interlaced his brother's finger with his and gripped them tightly as he pulled his brother into himself. As he pulled Keita, Kaiser stepped across to left with his right foot, leaving his body to face the left, and then swung his left leg (and body) around so that he was directly behind his brother. Kaiser forced Keita's arm down as he maneuvered around him, pressed his arm against his back, and began to push it up, threatening to break his arm off if he continued. Keita yelled out in pain as his brother pushed up once.

I, barely having had enough time to enter the club as Keita had challenged his brother, broke out into a sprint to Keita to help him. Keita saw me and shook his head.

"Stay back, Shizuo!! This is-" Kaiser pushed his arm up further, causing even more pain to be shot up through Keita's arm, "MY FIGHT!!!"

I stopped as Keita yelled out his words with agony. I couldn't bear to watch him in that much pain, but I knew if I interfered now, he would not forgive me later.

"Perhaps you should let your friend help, Keita, you seem to be in quite the..." Kaiser pushed his brother's arms just a little bit, but enough to cause pain, "... 'twist.'"

Keita winced under the enormous amount of pain coming from his arm and breathed laboriously.

"I will... Not have you... Corrupt our kingdom..." Keita said through his labored breathing.

"Ah, well, Kei-"

Keita let out a war cry as he shot out from his body a single wave of extremely pressurized air, sending everything in the club off to the sides to crash into the walls. My friends and I were thrown back as well and Ake had summoned out some energy-made hands to deflect the furniture that was sent our way as we slid back. The room was empty in the middle now, where Keita and Kaiser stood alone then.

Keita turned around to face his brother and began stretching out his right arm. I expected him to say something, but instead, he just Folded in front of his brother and the fighting resumed as if they hadn't taken a short break for conversation.

Kaiser held his right hand out in anticipation of Keita's move and, as soon as he did it, he let out a bolt of black electricity. Keita saw this just as he Folded and Folded once more off to Kaiser's left side to avoid the blast. Kaiser swiftly reached out to his brother with his left hand, grabbed him by the collar of his shirt, and pulled him into himself, while turning to the right, to punch him in the gut with his right hand. Keita coughed up a small amount of blood and Kaiser held that position for a few seconds.
