"Uh, Sir, you cant be here-" he started. I glared at him.

"It's okay. He's with me." Was that...?

I turned around, facing him.

"Kirishima..." I whispered.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Why are you here?" Kirishima asked.
"Listen, I know you're probably mad- any you should be and shit but, like, I can expla-"
"Mad?" Kirishima said, tilting his head to the side.
"Y-yeah. Y'now, the shit I said in class-"
"Oh. That. Why are you apologising?" He asked, picking up another box and putting it on a shelf.
"Wh-what do you mean 'why'? Why'd you think?!" I yelled.
"I don't follow." Kirishima mumbled, placing another box on a shelf and switching them around.
"What do you mean?! I said really terrible shit about you a while ago. I didn't mean any of it- I swear, I was just- just playing along with Rya-"
"No. It's okay. I said it was okay, Bakugou. You don't have to apologise." He said, reaching for another box. I pulled it out of his arms.
"Y'know, would feel a lot better if you were yelling at me and being all pissed off and shit.
I really don't understand you. You can't forgive people that easily." I told him. He took the box out of my arms again, placing it on a different shelf.
"What's there to forgive? You didn't do anything.." Kirishima mumbled.
"What do you mean?!" I yelled, taking another box out of his arms.
"It's okay. You weren't wrong. Everything you said was true. And people say that all the time. I just learned to ignore it. Shut it out..."
My heart hammered against my chest, feeling familiar guilt build inside.
"You can't say that, Kirishima." He was on his tiptoes, reaching for another box. "Non of what I said was true. I was showing off. Maybe others do, maybe you do, but I don't believe that." I said, reaching up for the box and handing it to him.
He actually looked at me this time.
It's the first time I seen him look like that.
He looked so sad.
He placed the box next to himself and stepped forward, laying his forehead on my chest. I blushed.
"Thanks." He whispered.
"N-no problem." I mumbled, patting his hair.
We stayed in silence for a while before Kirishima sighed and stepped back.
"When are you finished work?" I asked him.
I should do something to make it up to him.
"In a half hour." He said. "But then I have to walk dogs."
"Walk dogs?" Why would be do that?
"I need the money..." kirishima muttered.
"Then I'll come with you. It's already dark and it's fucking freezing outside. We'll go get hot-chocolate after." I told him.
He turned to me, eyes sparkling. They lost their spark for a moment. "Y-you don't have to do that..." he said sadly.
"No, it's a promise. We're doing it and that's that." I said sternly.
Kirishima's eyes got their sparkle back. "Thank you!" He said happily.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"So how many dogs do you have to walk?" I said. We already picked up the first three.

"Nine." Kirishima said.

"NINE?!" I screamed.

Kirishima rang another doorbell. An elderly woman and a yappy chihuahua answered.

"Hello Mrs. Amane." Kirishima said politely. "We're here to pick up-"

"Gives us the fucking dog." I said.

Kirishima smiled, his eyes looking like he wanted to murder someone, and looked at me.

"What was that dearies? Ah, you must be here to pick up Princess!" The women said. Huh.

She picked up her dog and handed it to me. I took a look at it.

Princess?

I'm not going to tell her that 'Princess' is a fucking dude.

"See you at 9am Mrs. Amane." Kirishima said, walking away. I caught up with him.

"Hey wanna know something funny?" I asked him.

He tilted his head.

"Princess is a guy." I burst out laughing.

Kirishima looked confused for a second before giggling.

"Well she's old. Don't blame her." Kirishima said after a while.

"Poor mutt. We'll call you Prince I guess." I mumbled to him. He nipped my finger. "AH- SHIT-!"  I screamed. Kirishima laughed.

We picked up the rest of the dogs and walked around the park a couple of times.

"Arg, why is it so fucking cold?!" I said. I was wearing a jacket and a jumper, yet it's still freezing.

"I thought you said you didn't get cold." Kirishima said, turning to me. His nose was pink.

"I-I'm not cold. I'm just worried for you." I said, ruffling his hair.

He giggled and turned to me. I touched his nose. "You definitely look cold." I told him.
"I'm sure the dogs have walked enough. I've been carrying 'Princess' the entire time, so I'm not sure what the point was bringing him."

"Yeah. We should head back now." Kirishima said.

We delivered all the dogs back home. We said goodbye to 'Princess.'

"Good riddance." I said under my breath.

"So how 'bout that hot-chocolate?" I said.
Kirishima smiled at me.
