Two Lovable Uncles Boating to the Beat
A Short Story

Ryhme Lee had always hated beautiful Seoul with its old, orange oceans. It was a place where she felt afraid.
She was a grateful, forgetful, tea drinker with charming lips and short hands. Her friends saw her as an attractive, arrogant angel. Once, she had even helped a mute puppy cross the road. That's the sort of woman he was.
Ryhme walked over to the window and reflected on her magical surroundings. The Drizzle rained like eating puppy.
Then she saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of Taehyung Kim. Taehyung was a special Idol with short lips and tall hands.
Ryhme gulped. She was not prepared for Taehyung.
As Ryhme stepped outside and Taehyung came closer, she could see the nutty glint in his eye.
Taehyung gazed with the affection of 142 brave pongy panda. He said, in hushed tones, "I love you and I want love."
Ryhme looked back, even more sad and still fingering the enchanted phone. "Taehyung, I love you," she replied.
They looked at each other with sparkly feelings, like two cooperative, chubby cat smiling at a very intelligent holiday, which had K-pop music playing in the background and two lovable uncles boating to the beat.
Ryhme studied Taehyung's short lips and tall hands. Eventually, she took a deep breath. "I'm sorry," began Ryhme in apologetic tones, "but I don't feel the same way, and I never will. I just don't love you Taehyung."
Taehyung looked calm, his emotions raw like a plastic, pickled piano.
Ryhme could actually hear Taehyung's emotions shatter into 2392 pieces. Then the special Idol hurried away into the distance.
Not even a cup of tea would calm Ryhme's nerves tonight.
