Writer's pov
Back at Ameer house, Maryam was so excited, finally her plan worked she called her mum to share the good news and her mum praised her.
"This eye pencil makes him think you're his wife and he won't recognize that woman as his wife" her mother explained
"okay mum" Maryam replied
"Maryam don't ever let Ameer see that eye pencil the spell will break Immediately and make sure you apply it always okay, and hide it after use " her mother warned
"Yeah yeah I will, bye " she said
Ameer was in the office, everything felt wrong, he felt sick and and had an unusual bad feeling in the pit of his stomach. He was so restless he couldn't do anything. Even his employees knew something was wrong with him.
He decided to go home when he reached the gate he turned arround. For some reason he didn't want to go inside so he went to farook's house.
Farook's has not being coming to work for some days he wasn't feeling too good.
The once jovial and fun farook has turned into a quiet and cold person all because of heart break Ameer thought.
He reached their and the house was opened immediately he entered, the cent of strawberry hits his face. He know his friend loves anything strawberry.
He went inside the house and and met him sitted on the sofa with a game plan in his hand and a big bowl of strawberry ice cream next to him. Farook was dressed in his sweet trousers and a shirt with a blanket covering his body.
He didn't notice Ameer in the house he was do focused on the FIFA he was playing. Ameer tapped him on the shoulder and he quickly turned.
"Bro you finally decided to come and see me, snice you got married you abandoned your best man" he said with a pout.
He rolled his eyes and sat next to him
"So how have you being" Ameer asked
"Alhamdulilah, I'm better just little headaces and fever but I'm better" he said
"So and about your ex I hope you're over her ko" ameer asked
"Abeg fashi that girl. Let me show you something" he said picking his phone from the table.
He showed ameer a pic of a girl probably her early 20s.
"See my new catch. Wallahi babe dinan tayi se ma ka ganta a gaske( I swear this babe is fine till you see her in reality)
He said excitedly
"Ahhh so you've already found a new babe I'm happy for you guy I'm glad to see you've finally moved on" Ameer said and we laughed
"This girl is the opposite of that bitch she just finished uni and she's a very good girl her name is Hanan. He said
"Wow all the best man, your telling me you will soon join me kenam, can't wait for your wedding" Ameer joked
He hits Ameer with his game pad "I'm actually thinking of marriage fah I mean whats the big deal shes a very good girl and would make a perfect wife" he said
"Wow my friend is in love, he's all grown up. I'm surprised I thought you wanted to stay as a bachelor forever"
Ameer said
"Hahah well, people change. Speaking of marriage how is hindu I haven't heard from her. He asked
Ameer bacame confused who is Hindu he asked
"You're kidding me right? Your wife mana he said his face becoming serious.
"Wallahi I don't know who you are talking about, my wife's name is Maryam " Ameer said still very confused
"No it's not it's Hindu. You know fair in complexion, pointed nose, with a dimple, she smiles alot? He says
He looked at him in confusion "you mean that crazy woman that destroyed my sleep with my wife"?
Ameer said remembering yesterday morning.
"What? Okay you need to see a doctor you're even worse than me you are loosing your mind. He said picking his phone, he dailed a number and called Hindu she picked.
"Hello matar abokina( my friend's wife) how are you."
"I'm friend you "
"Alhamdulilah I'm with Ameer now and I think he is loosing his mind."
Hindu understood what was going on
"Erm farook please go somewhere private away from Ameer let me explain" she said
Ameer I'm gonna use the toilet he said and Ameer nodded still thinking really hard, he thinks farook is the crazy one.
Farook went upstairs.
"Okay whats happening did you guys have a huge fight? He asked
"No I think he is under the influence of some black magic he doesn't recognize me he thinks this cousin of his is his wife we need to fix all these I don't know where to start I've being praying for him all day.
She said
"Wow these this so bad how did this happen I know he has a creepy aunt and a daughter but I didn't know the Maryam was this crazy. I will go downstairs and put tell him now. He said
"No don't we don't know what kind of asiri this is I don't want it to cause harm to his brain. We need to break the spell. Aunty rabi has this friend that is always involved in asiri activities and promised to help us. she promised me she will find out how to make ameer remember me. Don't tell him anything for now behave normal."
She said
Owkk if you find out any thing call me I'm gonna give you all the help you need he said she thanked him and hung up.
He went downstairs and met Ameer deep in thought
"Hey man" he said giving him a weird look he couldn't believe his best friend was under a spell.
"You've being up there so long" Ameer said. Yeah I had a big lunch.
"Ehen guy do you mind if I spend the night here I don't feel like going home, I don't know why but I just have this bad feeling when I think of going home. Ameer said
Farook felt like telling him what was going on but decided to keep shot.
"Of course you don't have to ask" he said
He handed him a game pad and they started to play games.
