Today Ameer was determined to ask Hindu to he his but he was scared he what if she doesn't accept then his dad will get him married to Maryam and he can't stand her. He decided on a plan to make the proposal very special.
He was getting ready to meet his friend farruk at his apartment. Farukk leaves in his own apartment after having a misundersting with his parents.
When Ameer reached his house which was located at utako Abuja. He went inside and found farruk on the couch with the tv on but his mind was not on the TV he was looking into space. He wasn't even awear of Ameer's presence.
Ameer call his name for like three times but he still didn't hear him. Ameer stood in front of him and claped his hands before he snapped out if it.
"Ameer when did you even come" farukk said trying to mask the pain with a smile but Ameer could see right through him. "How will you know when I came in when you where zoned out, what where you thinking about I called you name and you didn't even hear me" he said making himself comfortable on the couch.
"Its nothing just fashi" he said trying to change the topic " you are not serious abeg tell me something make I hear" Ameer said he laughed he knows Ameer will not give up so he started talking 'you know my girlfriend maryam ko" he asked
"you mean the whole reason why you had a fight with your family? Ameer said
" yea her it turns out she was dating my fathers friend Alhaji musa he is her sugar daddy and she duped him. I was blinded by my love for her I trusted her it turns out all she wanted was money and I gave her money Ameer whatever she wanted I always provide for her. She has tried many times to seduce me to sleep with her to I refused there was a time I told her to stop coming to my house but she doesn't listen. I wanted to see if what my dad said about her was true I did my research and found out she was dating him and he is not the first person she stole from." He said looking like he was going to cry
"Does she know you've found out the truth" Ameer asked
"Yes because she doesn't pick my calls I haven't seen her in a while till today she sent me a massage saying she never loved me and she's going to get married soon." He explained
"I'm sorry man just forget her Allah is saving the best for later now you just have to look for your parents forgiveness I know they will forgive you. Dont let this ruin your life okay?"
Ameer said trying to calm him down
"Yes you are right I will ask for their forgiveness insha Allah. I will forget her with time even though it won't be easy. He said
Farukk is a very handsome guy, he is well built and tall. He had thick eye brows and a cat shaped eyes with a narrow pointed nose and a pink set of lips. Ameer and farukk met in their first year of collage.
Ameer has always avoided girls even though lots of girls wished to date him because of his looks and kindness meanwhile farukk was a player he took advantage of his looks girls fight with each other because of him. He dated anyone he wanted and dumped them anutime but after collage he met Maryam he fell inlove with her he was crazy about her. He allowed her to control his life. Even though Ameer never met Maryam he has always told farukk to be careful with her. He just didn't listen his parents told him to leave her instead he got into a fight with them and moved out.
