Nagising si Ajie sa hindi pamilyar na kwarto. Lumingon siya sa buong paligid na kanyang kinaroroonan. Napakadilim sobrang dilim maliban nalang sa liwanag ng isang kandila na nagmumula sa isang sulok
Napansin niyang napakalinis ng kapaligiran at maayos ang mga gamit at napakalambot rin ng kama na kanyang hinihigaan, malaki rin ito kumpara sa kanyang sariling kama
Napapikit siya ng sumakit ang kanyang ulo nang isipin niya ang huling nangyari bago siya nawalan nang malay
Naglalakad siya sa Jingshi ng biglang dumating si Jiyang. Naaalala niya na nag usap sila before--
Before Jiyang asked her to come to Nightless Kingdom, again. Siyempre hindi siya pumayag, as usual, ilang beses na niyang nireject ito ng paulit ulit pero this time hindi na tinanggap ni Jiyang ang 'No' na sagot niya kaya naman kinidnap nalang siya nito
Ajie's eyes widened in realization
Prince Jiyang had kidnapped her!
She was about to stand up trying to run away from wherever Jiyang had taken her to. Before another wave of migraine hit her and she weakly stumbled back onto the bed behind her.
Wala na siyang oras mag isip kung ano ang dahilan ng pagsakit ng kanyang ulo dahil naalala niyang may ginawa si Jiyang sa kanyang katawan. He pressed the pressure nape to render her unconscious and that wasn't supposed to render her onto this state---when the door she was placed in opened.
Speaking of the devil he already appeared!
Pinapanood ni Ajie ang pagpasok ni Jiyang na parang walang nangyari. Na parang hindi niya naaalala na wala siyang ginawa sakanya, na parang hindi siya kinidnap kahit ang ilang beses na niyang sinabi na hinding hindi siya sasama sakanya ng napakadaming beses!
Jiyang barely look at her as he entered the room in his night robe, closing the door behind him before walking towards the bed where Ajie weakly sat on
"SONG JIYANG! WHERE THE HELL AM I?!" Ajie asked, as loud as her throat and pounding head allowed her to struggle to maintain her consciousness. She blinked her tired eyes a few times as she tried to focus watching over Jiyang
Jiyang paused for a moment at the question being asked before he spoked, "In my Kingdom, Nightless Palace, in Prince's Chamber----my room"
Napamulagat ng mata si Ajie na parang hindi naniniwala sa sinabi niya
"Alam ko na sasabihin mong hindi ka sasama, Ji'er" pagpapatuloy niya at naglakad palapit ng palapit kay Ajie hanggang sa nasa harapan na siya
She shuddered when Jiyang's warm hand suddenly cupped her face as his thumb gently caressed her cheek "But i did this for your own safety Ji'er" he said before he kneeled down infront of Ajie. One hand still cupping her face and the other gently held her curled fist on his lap "Hind kita inilalayo o kung ano pa man sa kaharian niyo. Ginawa ko lang ito dahil sa pagsusumamo ng iyong amang hari at inang reyna isama mo nadin si Master Lan na hindi ako tinitigilan na ilayo ka muna roon hanggat hindi pa naayos ang lahat. Ayokong may mangyaring masama saiyo habang wala ako roon, pumayag ako dahil alam kong mapoprotektahan kita sa tabi ko" malumanay na sagot ni Jiyang habang seryosong nakatingin kay Ajie
Ilang minutong walang ingay sa pagitan ng dalawa hanggang sa umiwas ng tingin si Ajie
"What do you mean by that Jiyang? I.....I dont understand you.... Jiyang i....." she hissed before she whimpered when her head pounded even harder than the last, as her face scrunched into pain and paled with tears
Jiyang hummed as he gently rubbed Ajie's temples, and he's face seems brighten up when Ajie relaxed under his treatment "Ji'er you pass your spiritual power onto Lei. Your body is very weak, no matter how you cultivate, it doesn't have any results up until now and there's a possibility that you'll end up dying because of that. For now all you have to do is rest"
Ajie whimpered as she slowly asked, "Rest....?"
Jiyang nodded as he stood up "Mnn rest" he said before he gently laid Ajie back onto her lying position when he left the room a while ago
"Ji'er needs to rest" he said as if he was childing a child into sleeping. Ajie wanted to protest, she wanted to get angry and lash out at Jiyang to let her go and return her back to Peach Pier Sect however when she was about to do so, Jiyang suddenly singing a huntingly familiar tune as he caressed her head gently, carefully threading his fingers between the strands of her hair
As soon as he did that, whatever protest Ajie wanted to say suddenly dissappeared as she look at him, seemingly in daze. He barely registered the dip of the bed when Jiyang moved around and laid next to Ajie, his arms caging her onto his body as he continue to sing and caressed her head gently and soothingly
When she finally snapped out her daze, her eyes suddenly shutting down on themselves---tired from the unknown cause, she somehow manage to unconsciously gotten himself into. The last thing she remembered before her world darkened again was the smile on Jiyang's face and the gleam in his eyes that sent shudder to the back of her spine
She noticed that Jiyang was moving and she knew that Jiyang was saying something to her, however, Ajie didn't know what as she was too disoriented from whatever cause before once again, she fell into unconsciousness
