Last chapter was very short, I know.

No one's probably going to read this story, so I don't know who I'm talking to right now, but whatever :)

I really wish I could use emojis right now, but I guess not.

Anyway...

Chapter 2: Percy

At first, I thought I was just sleeping. I mean, everything was dark right? That's what happens when you're sleeping.

But then I realized that I was standing up. All around me were trees shrouded in darkness, their leaves being rustled by the wind. In the sky I could still see the moon, bright as ever. I was in the woods, still at Camp Half Blood. I kept looking around me, wondering how I got here.

It took me a while to realize there was someone right in front of me. He cleared his throat in obvious discomfort. I nearly jumped out of my skin, and instantly reached my hand to my pocket for Riptide. The figure cleared his throat again and held up a pen.

Wait a minute. A pen? Why would I need a pen... Wait. That was my pen. Not just a pen, but that was my sword. Riptide.

"Who are you?" I shouted. "And give me back my sword!"

The man laughed. "You mean this thing?" I watched as he snapped it in half, and threw the pieces behind him. I almost charged him, before I realized that he was pointing a sword at my throat. My sword was gone, never coming back. I've had that thing since I was 12. It had saved my life a thousand times, and killed about a thousand more. My dad gave me that sword. And now it's gone.

"He's not your real father, Perseus," the figure said, like he was reading my thoughts.

I stared at him. This guy just snapped my sword in half, is about to kill me, and is probably the reason I'm in the woods right now. And now he's trying to tell me Poseidon's not my real dad? Creep.

"How do you know who I am? And why am I here? Who are you?" A million questions raced through my mind, curiosity replacing my anger.

I watched as the figure walked closer to me, sword still at my throat. A shaft of moonlight hit him, illuminating the figure. His eyes were like small galaxies, full of thousands of tiny stars. He had a scar on the right side of his face, running from his eye to his chin.

"I know you because you are my son, Perseus Jackson. I am Chaos, master of life, creator of darkness. And your father."
