I hear the pattering rain. It's a familiar calm. Soothing, like balm on chapped lips. An onslaught that washes away the dirt and crime... I meant grime. A cleansing act. It's constancy is comforting. There's much to consider but for now the rain is enough.
The night sky sheds what I cannot. The clouds bring forth a fluid freedom. Libation to lenify the calamities that came and went, leaving nothing but destruction in their wake. Plenty of it. Constant.
For now the rain is enough. It does what I could not. For now the rain is all I could ask for.
