Jennie's POV
*RIIINGG RINGGGG*
Jennie woke up with her mask on. She quickly answered her phone.
"Hello?" She said in a sleepy voice
"YAHHH JENNIE-YAHHH you have a meeting today! Why aren't you up you dumbass?!" Her bestfriend slash manager, Irene, said in a very loud annoying voice.
"Oh I forgot." Jennie nervously laughed.
She then hung up to avoid the long lecture she might get from Irene and started to get ready for the meeting.
She is a very well known idol and model in South Korea. She is under JYG Entertainment or should I say Nayeon's company. She is good friends with Nayeon and Irene.
*RIIINNNGGG RIIIINNGGGG*
Jennie answered her phone.
"Hey babe you have a meeting today?"
Her boyfriend Kim Jongin also known as Kai called her.
Kai is a very kind,caring,loving and attractive guy. He is also a famous Idol in Korea.
"Yes babe"
"I will pick you up"
"Ok I'll wait for you at may dorm's entrance"
"Ok I love you"
"love u too, drive safe !"
Jennie then hung up.
After 15 minutes of waiting, Kai picked up Jennie and brought her to her company.
"Jennie-yah ill pick you up again later ok? I just have a meeting at my company too."
"Ok kiddo" Jennie replied.
Kai hugged jennie and left. While jennie watch Kai walk away she was shook by someone.
"WAAAAA"
"Ohh sHIIIT" Jennie startled. She glared at her manager Irene.
"The hell Irene!" Jennie continued to glare at her.
"Calm down you dumpling we've got business today." Irene said while laughing.
Jennie and Irene proceeded to the meeting room.
The meeting began. All of them we're present. As soon as Nayeon stepped in with new faces they knew big projects are about to come.
"Ok, you all know the drill. Is anyone not here?" Nayeon asked
"Everyone is present Boss" Nancy answered.
"Ok, since alot of fans have been requesting new things from us, why not give it to them? We have been quiet for almost 9 months. We only get sponsorships,same songs performed, fashion events, why not make our own right?" Nayeon said as an opening. Giving hints about big plans that are coming up.
Two hours have passed and the biggest project was announced.
"For our last project, Miss Nayeon will be proposing it." The employee said and bowed to Nayeon.
"Ok hello again. So lets make this short. This project is for Jennie Kim." Everyone seemed to be excited but Jennie remained calm.
"Ohh and it's not just Jennie, We have Kai from the other company. It will be an album together, more like collaborations." Nayeon explained.
"What is so special about this? I mean it is just a collaboration with another guy?" A producer asked.
"What so special about this is that it won't be with our production team. So they won't really work with you. They will work with known professionals. Also, some publicity for our dating idols." Nayeon smirked at her own producer.
"How?.. I mean our crew is not working for them for this big project?" The producer asked confusedly.
"You bet it. Since your crew just ended your last project two weeks ago, I am sending you for a trip to Hawaii." Nayeon said firmly.
"Now no more complaints, let me introduce you to the person we will be having for this collab."
Nayeon introduced the people. They are all known and famous.
"For our producers we have Park Chaeyoung, you all know her of course"
Everyone was shocked. Chaeyoung AKA Rosé is a photographer/director who ranked 5th worldwide when it comes to that profession.
"For the 2nd producer..uhm we will wait for her approval."
30 more minutes and the meeting had ended.
JENNIE's Cut
After the meeting she quickly went to Nayeon's Office
"NAYEEON!" Jennie yelled.
"Whaat?!" Nayeon yelled from the comfort room.
Jennie quickly entered the comfort room
"What were you thinking?"Jennie didn't like that she would be working with her boyfriend because she know controversies would arise.
"Don't you like your project?" Nayeon asked with an innocent face.
"Nayeon you know I can't work with him. I know some shitty ships would come up. The fans of his Ex will attack me more, you dumbass." Jennie said it in a very stressed phase.
"Ohh come on I will kill those bastards who will hurt you Jen. Besides it's the best thing for our company you know. I gotta make dad proud and alot of known people are in for this project, you cant back out now Jen. Please just dont back out. In three weeks it will be announced and contracts would be signed. Ok?" Nayeon said calmly
Jennie thought about it. And Nayeon is right. If she will back out, she wont be able to give what the fans want. It will also give her a bad image to those known people that are going to work for this project and in only three weeks, it will be annouced. Jennie didn't want the company to cram because of her.
She took a deep breath before nodding at Nayeon in response.
"I trust you in this ok?" Jennie said softly while hugging Nayeon.
"Dont worry mandu." Nayeon replied
"I'll go now, Kai maybe waiting outside"
She said as she broke the hug.
"Go home safe" Nayeon hugged her once again then Jennie left the office.
As soon as Kai met Jennie he quickly hugged her and told her about the news
"Babe we will be working together!!" Kai said while hugging her with a bright smile painted on his face.
"Yes, I know, how about a dinner to celebrate this?"
"Sure babe, why not?"
