1. This story's idea was fueled and inspired by one of my friends
2. Waluigi was originally gonna be one of the final four and would die trying to save Rosalina but I scratched that idea in favour of Koopa and his interesting personality
3. Daisy was always gonna die first so then I could frame any of the Mario/Wario brothers
4. "Who the fuck jizzed on the floor?!" is my favourite line
5. I ran out of ideas for character deaths several times and as a result, we have Morton's death, being gassed
6. DK's death (Dismemberment) was inspired by Yandere Simulator
7. I kinda forgot about the Koopalings so that's why they're all grouped together as deaths
8. Bowser JR was supposed to play a much more significant role where Bowser was the one to have the staged suicide death but that never happened
9. The original FF lineup was gonna be Mario, Waluigi, Rosalina, Peach (death order being that as well)
10. The story wasn't originally gonna be all in Peach's head
11. Most of this was written as I listened to Stacy's Mom and BFS songs on repeat
12. Peach was inspired a little by the DDLC characters, mainly Yuri
13. Favourite character to write was probably Ludwig, but Mario, Koopa, and Waluigi were all great as well
14. Everyone I know who read this hated Mario in it, despite me thoroughly enjoying his character
15. Mona and Dixie were the only ones to know Peach was Player 2

17. I used Ecosia so my search history wouldn't be ruined by some rather interesting searches
18. The 'ne'er-do-wells' were gonna play a much bigger role than they did but cause I can't implement simple ideas, they didn't

20. Here's the explanation for the whole 'dream or not a dream?' thing:
Player 2 is Peach. Player 1 is controlling Peach and isn't a physical being. Player 1 is the mad, deranged side of Peach that comes out when she'd particularly stressed and wants to snap. All the events of this story take place in a dream that Peach had when Player 1 became stronger and took over her mind. In 'Reality' Peach snaps out of the dream and wakes up, banishing Player 1.
