Chapter 2

Batman was investigating the asylum's most dangerous ward. He'd just thrown scarecrow back into his cell, it had taken a week and a half to find and detain the man.

He sighed as he walked down the hall , checking all the cells . Then he reached joker's cell. There was a lot of worry in the public and the police department, since joker had been missing for near two weeks .

Bruce just couldn't think where the clown prince had disappeared to. Joker never kepted any money from his heists he gave it to his henchmen mostly, only keeping enough for if he needed more knives or makeup.

He knows he has a safe house somewhere, he just can't pinpoint where unless joker was stupid enough to lead him there. While checking through his room, apart from the lunacy on the walls the room was in quite a similar state to if it wasn't lived in.

Then Bruce found something odd , a wrapper in the corner of the room , obviously looked over by the meds on the ward. He bent down and picked it up. Shock was suddenly obvious on the bat's eyes.

It was part of a suppressant packet.It read ,'Easy scent and heat suppressants for omegas', Bruce would of never thought this was a possibility. He was sure that the clown was an alpha. But now thinking back to whenever they fought, the joker never had a scent.

" this could be helpful," he whispered to himself. The asylum gave out free suppressants to omegas but this was a black market suppressant, meaning the joker was hiding it from the staff.

Batman was probably the only one to know, the only one except- "Harley." He said in realisation, the woman never left his side , she had to know.

Harley was the reason everyone broke out. She had disguised herself as a therapist then snuck into the control room and started opening doors. Luckily she was detained quite quickly and was now locked in a interrogation room.

Bruce entered the room , Harley was in a straight jacket looking straight at Bruce , smile evident on her face "Batsy, batsy, batsy , did you enjoy my little bit of fun? ". Bruce grumbled "we know that the main reason to do this was to release joker , which is why I'm here , where is he?" Harley giggled " how would I know where mr. J is bats?" She was obviously toying with him

So he showed her the suppressant wrapper " you do know us omegas need the actual suppressant not the wrapper" she smirked . But Batman just looked back " I found this in joker's room."

Harley's smirk quickly disappeared.

" so he is an omega..." Bruce finally cut the silence. " I'll kill you if you think about going near him, he- never mind, but I swear bat, you use your alpha side against him , I'll kill you so painfully , when they find your body they still won't be able to identify your face ." She growled at him , looking at him dead in the eye.

" I can't promise that" he lowly , before he started to walk out , Harley was shouting him until he walked around the corner of the corridor outside the room.
