Chapter 7: A day in town

A/N: "Who's ready for a day out in the town!"

Ghost: "There really isn't anything to do."

A/N: "They have alcohol."

Ghost: "I stand corrected."

Void's perspective

Today we headed into town again with the Farm girl to help with deliveries and any business we had at the guild.

Farm girl: "I'll go get this signed while you two finish up."

Slayer: "Alright."

Void: "Take your time, we're not in a rush."

She nodded as she headed inside.

Elf: "Orkbolg? Nightwind? What are you two doing?"

I turned to see the party from before.

Slayer: "Unloading cargo."

Void: "Same."

We picked up a create each and walked over to where they needed to be placed.

Dwarf: "That was quite a beating you two took back there. You two alright?"

Slayer: "I am."

Void: "Please that was nothing."

Elf: "What?"

Void: "Tell you later."

We continued to unload as we talked.

Lizardmen: "I was distressed Slayer when I heard you had slept for three days, you seem to be back on your feet however."

Slayer: "Yes."

Lizardmen: "Please forgive me, but there is a favor I want to ask if I may? You see I wonder how to say this."

Void: "You want more cheese don't you."

Lizardmen: "Y-yes how did you know!"

Void: "I'm good at reading people, he's been whining about it hasn't he."

Dwarf: "You have no idea."

Elf: "I swear he's done nothing but talk about cheese for the last three days."

Slayer reached into the cart and threw him a wheel of cheese.

Slayer: "Will this do?"

He caught it and started getting excited about it.

Void: "Make sure you pay the guild for it."

Lizardmen: "Most certainly. Thank you very much Sirs."

Elf: "Hey Orkbolg, Nightwind."

Void/Slayer: "Yea."

Elf: "Well it's just, I don't know if you've heard but we just took on a new quest surveying some ruins."

Slayer: "I see."

Elf: "So you know it's possible we may ask for your help or something."

Void: (Oh god she's a tsundere.)

Slayer: "I'll think about it."

Elf: "Nightwind?"

Void: "Just call me Void and yeah I'll think about it. Haven't been on a survey mission in a while."

The Elf got excited then got a somewhat smug expression on her face.

Elf: "Well you do that, we'll be off now."
