Angela's fingers started to tap on her lap, but she kept her mouth tight. Ben chuckled, "Concealing it won't help, sweetheart. Especially when you hate me so so much."

That was when Angela had felt all the wieght back on her shoulders, and the feeling of being trapped was back.

"Do you wanna go back to California, big time scientist? Wanna go back and live your perfect little life? If that's it, then go." Ben said, paying his attention back to the T.V.

Angela gritted her teeth, and rolled her hands into fists.

"How's being a scientist like? Well payed, perfect? I'm surprised you made it that far." He added on.

"At least mother supported me when I needed it." Angela said through gritted teeth.

Ben's eyes widened, and he stayed quiet. Angela stood up angrily with her crutches, and hopped out of the room. She saw Eric, Sandy, Sandy's daughter (Hannah), and Sheldon sitting in the waiting room. She walked passed them and was trying to get out of the building until Eric ran up to her.

Eric said with a concerned tone:

"Hey, hey, hey! What happened? Is everything OK?"

Angela sighed, and looked down. She said in an irritated tone, "No, Eric. Everything is not OK. In fact, he does not love me, he wishes that I go back to California. And I will!"

"No, Angela. He does love you--"

"You don't know the real meaning of love if you keep saying he loves me." Angela snapped. With that, she hopped away with her little backpack.

Sandy went to go find Angela around the building, since she went missing for an hour, and saw that she was in the parking lot...by Sandy's car.

Sandy walked up to her, cautiously, and tapped Angela's shoulder, making her flinch. Angela looked at Sandy, then sighed. She looked forward to nowhere, and Sandy felt/knew what Angela was trying to say.

She pulled out a pack of Malboro cigarettes out of her purse, and gave her a cigarette. Angela gladly took it, and put it in her mouth. Sandy lit it for her and Angela inhaled. Afterwards, Angela sighed in relief and her tapping and fidgeting stopped.

"We wouldn't have called you if daddy was gonna drive you to this..." Sandy said.

"I was already like this, Sandy. Yes, it is father's fault. But, in Pasadena, I've been smoking for quite a while." Angela casually said.

"It's not healthy."

Angela scoffed, "Like living in that house for nineteen years wasn't healthy?"

Sandy stayed quiet. Yet, she had more things to say:

"Well, life sucks don't it? Cryin' and smokin' ain't gonna help you. You gotta help you. Everything's been sh*t, I know. But you don't see me cryin' to Hannah bout' my problems do you?"

"That is what I get for trying an idiotic cancer stick," Angela snapped. "Smoking has it's addiction and I can't get rid of this habit."

"Try, goddammit!" Sandy yelled at Angela. "I won't let you fall like a stupid bird on marijuana! You're gonna try, or I'll tell Eric about you're 'Habit'!"

Angela stared at Sandy, no fear in her eyes. Her secret had been kept for years, and this revelation will hurt Eric in so many ways.

Angela stepped towards Sandy, "You will not tell him. A word said about this will be a burden in your life. In fact, if he does find out, I wouldn't care." She bluffed.

Angela may have bluffed, but Sandy doesn't bluff:

"Fine, you don't care about Eric, your brother? Then maybe you don't care that I tell your friend about your stupid addiction." Sandy snapped.

Angela gulped, and her green eyes turned a darker shade. No, no, no She thought. A simple word can cause the end of the World to her.

Sandy huffed, "I thought you were a strong girl. I thought you had the opportunity to make your life worth it, but you lost it along with your innocence."

"It isn't my fault," Angela whispered, her eyes turning glossy.

"Well, who's is it?!" Sandy yelled.

"You...you just don't understand..."

"Oh, but I do understand. You don't understand. I'm your big sister and I'm the one to screw up in life, not you. I think that's why you don't get along with daddy, because you're so addicted to this crap!" Sandy yelled, lifting the box of cigarettes in Angela's face to see.

Angela dry-sobbed, "N-No!"

"Oh yes, and those times you said you wanted to be alone outside, was just to smoke. Am I right?"

Angela shook her head, "I..I don't want to listen to you!" She stepped away from Sandy slowly.

"The reason you don't wanna listen is because you know it's the truth! You're afraid of the truth!" Sandy kept on, inching closer to her baby sister.

"Silence! Please!" Angela pleaded, stopping because of the car she was going to crash into. Now, she was trapped.

"No, because you need to hear me out! Get that freakin' cig out of your hand!" Sandy yelled once more, grabbing Angela's cigarette from her and throwing it on the ground, squishing it with her shoe.

Angela looked down, crying out of her mind. "Listen to me, Angela! Listen!" Sandy said, grabbing both of Angela's wrists, shaking her so she can look at her.

Angela forcefully looked at Sandy, tears streaming down one by one. Sandy felt guilty doing this to her baby sister, so she hugged her. She hugged her super tight, making sure her love was being shown.

Angela tensed, and held in her sobs. Her true fears were being said, and she felt betrayed. But she knew that it was because her sister was only being careful for her. And that meant a lot to her, but that didn't mean she was going to hug her back.

Sandy pulled back, and wiped Angela's tears with her thumb. She smiled, "I'm sorry, baby. You know I care for you. I lost momma, maybe daddy, and I ain't gonna lose you. People die from diseases just because of these cigarettes, and I don't want you getting a disease. I love you so much, OK?"

Angela nodded weakly, obviously tired.

"Let's get back in there. They're probably wonderin' where we are." Sandy said.

They began walking to the ICU entrance:

"About these crutches and bandages..." Sandy began/asked.
