Just as I thought my life was gonna get so much better with my amazing boyfriend, things just turned out the wrong way.
"Annelika, come downstairs please!"
I was just about to take a shower when I heard my mom calling me downstairs. So much for me needing time to myself. I put my silk gown on and headed downstairs.
"Yes mo..."
When I got downstairs I saw my uncle Ash and step cousin Luke. It's been nearly 8 years since I've seen my uncle. He stayed in Florida while we came to South Africa.
"Hey darling, it's been so long since I've seen you."
I ran to my uncle and I hugged him without saying anything. I really did miss him. He just laughed and gave me a tight hug. I then went over to my step-cousin, Luke and hugged him too.
My real aunt had passed away when I was really young. She suffered from depression and she ended up having a heart attack. My uncle then got married to my step-aunt 3 years later. Turns out they were apparently friends in middle school.
"Hey Alii. I missed you."
"I missed you too Luke. Finally good to see you."
My uncle gave me a weird look and once I looked at him I then looked at myself just too see I am still in my gown, practically naked.
"Honey, why don't you go get showered and we will talk to you once you're done?"
I just nooded my head and ran back upstairs. Today was supposed to be the day I go out shopping with my boyfriend, Jason Briggs. He is well known throughout the world.
His parents, Layla Briggs and Fred Briggs are huge in the world. They own a lot of companies and hotels, similar to my parents too. I am also very well known.
Once I reached my bathroom I turned on the shower again, stepping in and just standing under the water. I really needed a hot shower.

About 15 minutes later I was out the shower with a towel wrapped around my head and one around my body. I went straight to my closet and started looking for an outfit.
Just as I got an outfit someone knocked on my bedroom door. "COME IN!!" I yelled and my mom, my dad, along with my uncle and Luke came into my bedroom.
"Mom! I'm still in a towel here."
"I'm sorry sweetie but we really need to talk to you. This cannot wait any longer."
"Okay mom, what is it?"
By the sound of all this, I knew it would be something really bad. My mom never says it's 'something that cannot wait any longer.'
"Your dad and I have some really serious business to take care of, so we have decided to send you back to Florida with Ash and Luke. We already signed you in your new school."
No. Ways. I am definitely not going to leave just like that. I promised Jason I would go shopping with him and I needed new clothing after all!
"But mom, I have to go shopping with Jason! What am I going too tell him?!"
"Sweetie, I contacted Jason and he had no problem. He told me he would stop by before you leave with your uncle."
This was the worst day ever. Yes, I really wanted to go back to Florida, I missed it there. But what am I going to do? I was thee bad girl in this whole place and everyone knew me as the 'do not mess with me or you die' girl in school.
"Honey, your mom does have a point. And plus, we have serious business to take care of and we do not want you to stay home alone. And no, you cannot stay with Jason. We already booked your flight."
This is just great. Now my dad is siding with my mom too. My life really sucks.
"Sweetheart, get ready, we will all be waiting downstairs for you."
I just nodded my head and everyone left, but before Luke left he turned around and gave me a sheepish grin. What the hell?
I looked at the outfit that I had picked, the perfect outfit to leave in, definitely want to make everyone see who's bad girl. I took one last glance at it, this was totally amazing, I am not changing.
I had picked out a lavender type long sleeve polar neck, with a button up leather skirt and knee high boots. This was amazing. I'm sure Jason would love this. But I have to say goodbye to him.

I was now in the car with Luke and my uncle. When Jason came over I thought my mom would give in while we were begging her to take him with. She refused and told me that it's best if he could just stay here with his family.
Jason and I have known each other for 3 years now, ever since I came to South Africa, his parents spotted mine in a mall once and talked to each other until Jason and I went for ice cream and were friends from that day.
Till there was a day in school where Jason came to me with a huge teddy bear and flowers and asked me to be his girlfriend, I ended up saying yes and since I was 13 years-old, I was dating Jason.
I cannot believe I have to leave him just like that. This was heartbreaking. At least I will still be with him while I'm away. Having a long distance relationship was new to me.

We were finally at the airport and surprisingly I saw my best friend, Melissa waiting there for me. I ran up to her and hugged her. It was my last time seeing her...
"Gurl, I'm so sad with the fact that you're leaving. Can't you stay just a little bit longer?" Melissa said whining at the end. I really wish I could stay longer.
"Well I wish I could stay longer, but my mom and dad are leaving for their business trip tonight and have forced me to leave with my uncle and cousin today." I said frowning and looking back at my uncle and Kuke who were waiting for me.
Melissa just hugged me tight and I hugged her back, tears started forming and my eyes were watery. I cannot believe I am leaving everyone behind and going back to Florida.
"Annelika we have to leave, this is our flight!" I heard my uncle saying from a distance. I hugged melissa one more time before kissing her on the cheek and saying my goodbyes. I really am going to miss everyone here.
