Maybe Jeongguk should have thought twice, maybe he should have held Taehyung's hand.
He should have said I love you to him, he should have kissed him there. He should have said the same thing when Taehyung confessed his love to him. Now, all he can do is stare at him being in love with someone else that's not him. Regrets are painful. He should have realized he felt the same way Taehyung felt for him. And now he's left with a broken heart.
"Jeongguk-" Jimin sighed, "You can't spend the whole day sulking,"
"That should have been me, hyung," Jeongguk pouted, "I should be the one kissing him, not him."
"You can't seriously regret this now- He's happy,"
"I know," Jeongguk groaned, eyes getting teary. He's strong. He can't cry. He shouldn't. Even if his world is falling apart. "It fucking hurts. Everything would have been the best if I wasn't such an idiot,"
Jimin pulled Jeongguk close to him, hugging him tightly. "Don't say that, please..."
Jeongguk didn't say anything and neither did Jimin. Both of them sat there in silence, unaware that Taehyung is watching them. Hands clenched, heart aching.
That's supposed to be my position, Taehyung thought.
In the end, both of them stayed as fools.
