Rin
Rin zoned in and out of his own imagination during his form period. According to the clock, they were fifteen minutes in, but according to Rin's mind they were probably 15 years into 'Reasons Why Smoking Is Bad For Your Health' bullshit. His mind wandered in circles as he mapped out an idea as to what kind of job he could go on tonight. Steal something? Break into the mall after-hours? The ideas were endless.
That was before a rather attractive male snapped him out of his reverie. Rin actually decided to focus for once as his teacher labeled the eye candy at the front of the class as Vincent Yun, an exchange student from the Netherlands. Our form tutor, Miss Trehearn - a rather plain, mid 20s, white woman, who believed floral skirts that reached her ankles was a fashion statement - asked the God in front of us to tell the class a little about himself.
"Hello, I'm Vince. I'm originally from Korea, but moved to the Netherlands with my Aunt when I was 13. And I have a pet dog named Tsunami. Other than that, I'm pretty irrelevant," he smiled at the class and all the girls practically swooned in their seats. All of the guys seemed either envious or as if they wanted to be his friend.
Rin wasn't surprised about the class' reaction, they'd all throw themselves at any vaguely attractive human they saw. Vincent seemed to be of quite a lean build, and had a taller-than-average stature. He also had black hair which shone in the light, and appeared to have deep red streaks, and gorgeous jet-black eyes. His skin was the color of ivory, and appeared smooth and unblemished. A white turtleneck stretched across his lean muscles, and black jeans made his hair and eyes stand out. Whatever they'd been feeding him, Rin decided he'd like to try some.
Vince-Not-Vincent scanned the classroom... and locked eyes with Rin. His level of charisma was almost suffocating, and Rin tried to find a way out of the depths of the newcomer's eyes. He smirked, showing off unnaturally sharp, pearly-white teeth, receiving a shiver from Rin. Miss Trehearn caught this exchange and decided to speak up, "So, Vince, why don't you go and sit next to Rin, I'm sure he wouldn't mind." She smiled at the smaller teen encouragingly, whilst pointing to him for Vince to know who he was. Rin only groaned and slammed his head onto the desk in response.
Vince nodded and hauled his backpack, which appeared to be quite full, over to the seat to the left of Rin. That seat just-so-happened to crush him between Vince and the starkly-painted white wall. It reminded him, kindly, of the hospital he had spent his summer in.
Upon sitting down, Vince decided to try to initiate conversation with the goth-y teen he was placed next to. They contrasted quite starkly, Vincent looking like he had been sculpted by whatever mythical man was up in the sky, and provided an aura of angel wings and white bed sheets. Whereas Rin portrayed an opposite attractiveness; of cigarettes and illegal teen activity.
"So," Vincent began, startling Rin out of his thoughts and comparisons, "What lesson do you have next?"
Rin shrugged, trying to keep the speaking to a minimal. It's not that he disliked his voice, but more so that he felt insecure to speak around 'God's favorite' (as he heard quoted by the class whore, Melanie). He shook his head, realizing how jealous his thoughts were, and responded, "Torture. I mean, phys ed."
Vincent grinned and Rin's heart decided to do a funny little flip.
This is going to be a long fucking year, Rin decided, almost immediately.
