Y/N stood up, sweating everywhere, as he let out another cry and rushed right back into the maze for the 5th time. Everyone watched him amazed, scared, and impressed.

"The most I've ever done is 3. This kid is crazy." Alucard commented.

"He really doesn't have any powers?" Yuri asked.

Locke watched you with interest as you rushed through the course in record time. You threw your knives at the turrents after infusing them with the electricity from your glove causing them to go boom.

"He does know he can just avoid them right?" Jason asked.

You got shot by one and fell back causing everyone to worry before you shot back up and yelled at the top of your lungs before continuing on with more force.

"How does he keep doing that?" Lacy asked.

Locke watched you with an emotion no one could read. One no one had ever seen from him. Fear.

As the sun poured through the blinds and shined in the room that belonged to Y/N L/N, a new day, a new morning had began. This morning doesn't begin with super powered villains robbing a bank or the SHCU hunting down wannabe heroes. No. This adventure began in bed where two tired, emotionally and physically beaten teens slept.

As Y/N opened his eyes he saw the company he had. He smiled as the rays of sunshine shined down upon her face. The face of his friend, partner, and supporter. His smile grew a little wider when he remembered that he can add one more title on that list. Lover.

Rose wasn't awake and honestly Y/N couldn't blame her. Hell, he would be asleep to if his mental clock didn't wake him up. Her curls were in a mess and some even covered her face. Her lipstick was still on from the night before and the bruises only showed on her arm. Y/N was thankful. He was still wearing his jeans and tank top while she wore a pair of his sweats and one of his shirts.

Y/N was going to get up to stretch but seeing as Rose had turned his arm into her personal pillow, he stayed. He didn't complain. He didn't argue. He just laid there and enjoyed the fact that even though he was Ghost, the vigilante, he could still have moments like these. He brushed some locks of hair from her face and she stirred. She opened her eyes and stared at Y/N who stared right back at her. Her blue eyes met his grey ones and she smiled.

“Morning.” She said.

“Morning. How do you feel?” He asked.

She didn't answer right away. She instead fixed herself so that she was closer to him.

“I'm fine. Just really tired. What about you? You got it worse than I did and that's just from what I saw.” She asked with concerned in her voice.

“I mean I'm sore. I'm more concerned about the bruises though.” He admitted.

He turned his head to show her where Bandit had got him with his pistol. She gasped and quickly, gently, placed her hand on the bruise. He closed his eyes as he winced in pain. She began to retract her hand but he placed his over hers.

“It's fine. Really. I'm kinda use to it by now.” He assured.

She nodded and removed her hand.

“You do have more experience with Crypts and Accidentals than I do. I have no idea how you do this as much as you do.” She said.

Y/N shrugged.

“It's a gift I guess. I just ignore the pain until I'm done with the fight. No idea how but I'm just able to.” He explained.

“That explains why you were able to get thrown through a wall and still fight.”

Y/N smiled as Rose looked up to him and quickly gave him a kiss before she sat up and stretched.
