his parents, maria, ethan and i were all on our way to the jet. tess and jeff were in the middle row. ethan, maria and i were in the back. the driver, who's name is mack, was dropping us off at the airport.
on the jet
ethan and i were sitting in the one section, maria across from us. his parents were in a different section of the jet.
the jet was fine, only having the 5 of us on it and the 2 pilots.
once we got the okay from the pilot, we were able to take our belts off and move freely around.

maria took a photo of ethan and i which i ended up posting on my instagram story.
the flight was 13 hours and 20 minutes to venice but we were switching jets in toronto which was about 5 hours into our trip.
and then we were stopping in greenland which is 4 hours from toronto. the last 5 hours was from greenland to venice where our final destination is.
september 15th
today is the day of the wedding so i'm going to be meeting a lot of ethans family today.

my dress was a deep red color and it was so perfect. tess and i picked it out.

ethan was wearing a suit and had a red tie that matched my dress. he was in the wedding so i matched my dress to his tie color.

tess was in a yellow jumpsuit which was such a moment. jeff had on a black suit with a tie matching tess's outfit.

maria's dress^
we were soon on our way to the wedding venue. jeff was driving us there in the SUV we rented. ethan had already left, early in the morning, to go get ready with the groomsmen.
maria and i ended up becoming really close on the flight to italy so i was talking to her in the car. as well as occasional conversation with tess and jeff.
"so adelaide have you been to italy before?" tess asked me.
"oh yes. i lived here for a year when i was younger... in one of my moms hotels" i said, looking out at the familiar but beautiful scenery.
"oh i'm sure that was lovely!" we continued to talk about my year in italy.
today, while we were at the wedding, maria would have to make sure all of our things got moved to the new hotel. the one we were at was only temporary as they messed up the dates.
the wedding was going well. i sat with e's family and maria during the ceremony and then ethan and i dances during the reception.
it was actually a fun wedding, i met a lot of ethans family which was nice.
we ended up leaving around one... ethan was wasted. i wanted to be too but i thought that probably wouldn't have been too good considering i hadn't met his family before and i didn't want his parents to think of me like that.
ethan was legal in the states and in italy however i was only legal here.
we pulled up to the all familiar hotel that my mother owned
"is this the hotel we're staying in?" i asked.
"yes dear. is it okay?" tess asked
"yeah it's perfect, actually. this is one of my mother's hotels." i said.
"oh really? it looks lovely." maria responded.
we went in to the front desk, all of the staffers saying hello to me. some remembered me from my year in italy... others from photos or from hearing around. i was quite popular with the staffers when i stayed here.
i made sure to note to myself to have my mom give them a refund. for the week, it would cost them well over $7,000. not that that was an issue for them but i thought it would be a nice gesture.
his parents booked a room for ethan and i. tess and jeff had their own as well as a room for maria and the few other people that came on this trip.
i told ethan about my room that i usually stayed in, as i was the only person who stayed in it. we had maria send our bags up to the top floor so we could stay in my room.
