[Chapter 10] "The Guild"

Holy crap, this guy is so weak! He boasts about being "so strong", but I checked his teammates' status as well and they are even lower than his! I've fought goblins that would destroy these losers. This guy is 38 as well. What the hell man!

The funniest thing about his status is that his race seems to be [Human?] because God literally doesn't want to count him as one of his creations. Oh man, his name is John Smith as well. One of the most boring unoriginal names out there!

He gets up and walks closer to me. He raises his hand like he is going to smash me into the ground. I was ready to catch his fist with a finger or two, but his arm stopped mid-air.

There was a person holding the drunkard's hand and the dude looked familiar in a way...

(Drunk Man) - "S-sorry M-Mr. A ranked adventurer Jean. She just provoked me and I--" 

Before he could finish his sentence, he was thrown and he smashed through the guild walls and left one of those anime body-sized holes in the wall.

(Jean) - "Sorry little lady, I didn't mean for this guy to harm you. Adventurers are meant to help people instead of being foolish. I humbly apologize for that drunk representing us. To make up for it, are you planning to post up a quest because if you are, we would gladly accept to make up for it."

Oh right, this is the dude I scared shitless when I was just a newborn. I seriously hope he does not recognize me. Wait, he couldn't because I look like a little child.

I look behind him to see his teammates wave at me with a smile on their faces and I am trying so hard not to laugh or make an awkward face.

(Haku) - "First of all, I'm a boy. I don't want to keep saying it over and over. Second of all, I am here to sign up to be an adventurer. You filthy mor-- (ahem)." 

That could have been bad. My communication skill just kicked in at the wrong moment.

The whole guild goes silent before they all laugh at him for actually wanting to join the guild. Jean and his party are not laughing. They start to frown as they make fun of this child.

(Jean) - "May I ask what your name is?  Why do you want to be an adventurer? Also, how old are you because the minimum age for an adventurer is 12 years old."

When I was alive in my previous world, I was 23, so I guess subtracting ten years is fair considering my intellect.

(Haku) - "My name is Haku and I am 13 years old. I am traveling to the Dungeon of  Demise around 200 km from here to gain experience."

Riza came over to Jean and started talking to him...

(Riza) - "We were actually heading to the Dungeon of Demise for a mission, so we can get stronger because there is a monster that we faced that was on a whole other level. We can't fight it currently since we are too weak and we also plan to kill it before the Holy knight Leo gets his hands on him."

Oh no, she is talking about me. The only thing I am worried about is the priest girl who might know it is really me who they are hunting, but I should be fine since I turned off all traces of my aura.

(Riza) - "Oh, I forgot to introduce ourselves, this dunce of a swordsman right here is Jean. I am the thief known as Riza. Finally, the introvert over there is our priest named Ellie. We are named the 'Swords of Darkness' as we are an A-ranked group."

I already know that, but of course, I didn't say that out loud. It would be awkward to travel with them, but even so, they are going to the same place. I should probably ask to tag along so I can get some experience while hanging more around humans because I have been with a dragon for 5 years which really hurts.

I have been an introvert and anti-social my whole life, but 5 years without human contact as a previous human will drive anyone crazy.

(Haku) - "Can I go with you guys? I need some experience and I will feel a lot safer with people that can handle strong monsters. I will pay you guys for the trip of course." 

I lay down a bag of gold coins right in front of their faces and their mouths drop.

(Jean) - "Where did you get all of this money kid?"

(Haku) - "I used a holy gold coin and this was the change that they gave me."

(Riza) - "Holy cow, are you some kind of noble or something? We have only been in possession of 2 holy gold coins in our lifetime!"

How do I explain this to these humans with dollar signs in their eyes?

(Haku) - "I am from a faraway land. I am a uhhh... noble's son! Yes, a noble's son in a faraway land!" 

They were too focused on the money to be paying attention to what I said. That was such a dumb move, adding 'uh' in a sentence is so sketch when talking to someone.

(Haku) - "I will pay you half before and the rest after we get done with the trip."

(Jean) - "You got yourself a deal young man?"

(Haku) - "Why was that a question you Pathetic piece of trash that is not worthy to stand in the presence of the dark noble."

(A/N - He sounded like one of those demon girls in those one movies.)

Oh man, God damn this stupid communication skill!

Jean looks petrified as he sees a little child call him unworthy to stand in his presence in a demonic tone.

(Jean) - "S-sorry, just who the hell are you?"

(Haku) - "Forgive me, but can't tell you that. I'm going to go sign up to be an adventurer now mkay?"

I walk over to the receptionist who is obviously the hot female attending the counter.

(Lily) - "Hello kid, names Lily. If you want to become an adventurer just fill out some of these papers. *Whisper* Damn brats these days."

What the heck was that! Isn't the lady supposed to be like 'AWW SO CUTE LEMME BE YOUR BIG SISTER?' That's typically how it goes, right?

After dealing with all this shit, you have learned the skill [Killing Intent](F)

I activate the skill [Killing Intent](F) on this bitch who had the audacity to call me a brat at 28 years old. Oh wait, I'm technically 5 in this world, but regardless, this lady needs to pay for her actions against a being such as I.

Lily started trembling as I walk away looking at her with a sinister smile.

Lily has passed out due to you being terrifying.

Level UP

What the hell? How the heck did this lady give me a level and how did she pass out from a new skill?

The whole guild looked at Haku as if they were saying sorry to him with pure silence. He filled out the papers and just placed them on the counter where he decided to make the card himself due to the receptionist... falling asleep.

I walked back to the 'Swords of Darkness' party and it seems that Ellie joined in with the two people.

(Ellie) - "Sorry Haku, I am just nervous when it comes to new people, but I hope we can get along just fine!" 

As she turns away with a red face of embarrassment.

After finalizing some of the papers and payment, the adventurers and Haku leave to go to the Dungeon of Demise!

Elsewhere

(???) - "You are telling me that our God has finally been born? We must find our lord and help him destroy this entire world. Even though we are just mortals unlike dragons, we will do all we can to aid him in the creation of a new world!"

(??? everyone) - "YEAH!"
