Prologue

There is this new kid in school. He's really pale and doesn't really talk to anyone. He seems like a nice guy but there is this weird feeling about him. Like he is something different. Like he doesn't belong here, but he does. I don't really know much about him. I know he is in the same grade as me.

I'm in my senior year now, and I can't wait till it ends.

Another thing I know about him, is his name. It's Liam. Liam Payne. One of my friends, Louis, told me his name.

Liam fits his looks perfectly. I know it doesn't make much sense but it does. Every once in a while, his eyes turn red. I'm not sure why. It freaks me out though. Why would his eyes turn red? Is there something wrong with his eyes or is there something else? I guess I'll find out sooner or later.

Our teacher signed us up to do a project together. Maybe I'll find out why his eyes turn red? If it means something that I'm thinking. Then I'm scared. Really scared. I hope what I'm thinking isn't true. Because if he is a vampire. My life is going to be hell. What if I fall in love with him? What if he bites me, if he really is a vampire? Let's just hope he isn't.
