Last glimpse of life.

My heart beat faster.

Your voice grew fainter.

The world faded like a curtain of black.

Dark as night, still as branches.

The searing pain, slowed down so I could handle it well.

You all sat around my bed, in the hostpital.

You watched me, my last moments.

They were so peaceful.

I felt warm, salty tears run slowly down my cheeks.

You wiped them away, and said,

"It's okay to go. We will miss you, but your time is now. Go peacfully, my baby."

I nodded slowly, the world blurring through my water-logged eyes.

I let it take me.

My last glipse of life, was of you.
