Chapter. 9: "Camp Creepypasta Investigators."

"Yeah, I better get back too," Harper shrugged then left leaving me and Toby alone

I looked over at him and he seemed to be thinking about something.. something that was making him sad. I hate seeing Toby sad but considering I didn't know what was making him sad, I had to do the only thing I could do..

"Don't be sad, Toby." I hugged him

He laughed a little bit and then hugged me back

"I'm not sad now that you're talking to me!" He happily ruffled my hair "you're my little sunshine.."

I felt my face heat up when he said that,

What is this feeling?

I thought as we went inside the cabin,

"Oh hey, Y/N!" Credits waved

"Hey, can I.. talk to you about something in private?" I whispered to her, she looked confused but nodded her head anyways

We walked into the hallway where nobody was around,

"Okay so.. whenever I'm talking to Toby, I feel really happy and I'm not sure what I'm feeling.." I sighed in frustration

Credits face turned into a smirk and she laughed a little bit,

"I think you like himmm~!" Credits playfully nudged my shoulder

..I mean.. it makes sense. I've just never felt love before camp so I had no way of knowing I liked him.. well.. I guess Ticci Toby who I once thought was fictional, turned out to be the first person I've ever loved.

"..oh" I shuffled awkwardly where I was standing

"Don't worryyy, I'll keep your secret." Credits smiled reassuringly

Welp, that just happened.

I walked back into the lounge and and saw Jack sitting on the couch, eating a kidney, of course.

"You're finally free from the Health Department?" I said as I plopped down beside him

He ate the last bit of his kidney and readjusted his mask to cover his mouth

"Yeah, Nurse Ann and Dr. Smiley said I've been overworking so they talked to Slender and I have a week off." Jack sighed in a relieved tone

"Well that's good, hey have you seen Toby?" I asked

"Eh, I think he's having one of his 'episodes'.. I'd stay away from him if I were you." Jack shrugged

Episodes? What does he mean by episodes?

"..episodes?" I asked in confusion

"They're his mental breakdowns, he starts acting insanely bi-polar and he just cries and acts violent for no reason." Jack sighed as he started to have flashbacks of many of Toby's previous episodes.

"..okay, I'll keep my distance for awhile.." I lied

I can't just leave Toby alone in his sorrows, I need to talk to him.

I left the lounge and pretended to go in the direction of my room, but I switched directions once Jack wasn't looking and snuck off to Toby's room. Once I made it to the door, I didn't hear anything inside so I creaked the door open and scurried inside and quickly closed it again. The room was pitch black and I couldn't see a thing.

"Who's.. Th.. There?" Toby warily asked

I couldn't see him, but atleast I knew he was in the room.

"Hey.. it's me, Y/N, I just came to see if you were alright." I sympathetically said

"You.. you should ..g..go, I don't want to.. hurt.. you." Toby hesitantly told me

"..Are you sure?" I asked, hoping he'd say no and let me stay

"Mhmm.. I promise I'll t..talk to you later.."

"Okay.. I'll see you later." I sighed as I turned around to leave when suddenly Toby came over from wherever he was and grabbed my arm,

"N..no, I ch.. changed my mind.. don't leave m.. me.." he said sounding so sad and depressed

~ Toby's POV ~

I hugged her, not wanting to let go.

She's one of the only reasons I want to live..

She seemed confused but hugged me back anyways, I really like her. Nobody can have her, I don't care if it's being obsessive, she will be mine. She's my little ray of sunshine. I just wish I could be more then a worthless reject of society..

"Why do.. you like being friends with me..? I'm so.. annoying.." I felt another tear roll down my cheek

"That's a lie, you aren't annoying." She reassuringly smiled, I could barely see it tho considering my eyes weren't completely adjusted to the dark room yet.

"Heh.. thanks, sunshine." I ruffled her hair happily

We hung out for awhile in my room until we heard the front door open,

"uhhmm.. hello? It's Skully.. I'm supposed to have a room here or something..?" Jay called out from the lounge

Me and Y/N went out from my room and into the lounge where we saw Skully sitting on the couch waiting.

"Oh hey, you're Toby right?" Jay asked me

"Yep, I'm Toby! I'll show you the spare room we have." I smiled and led him to the spare room

~ Time Skip ~

* Knock Knock! *

I put the waffle I was eating on my bedside table and went to see who was at the door. Yesterday, I showed Jay the spare room which didn't have much in it, but he said he liked it being bare so I guess he's our new roommate.

I opened the front door and saw Harper and Jayson.

"Hey, Toby." Harper waved

"Oh hi, whatcha guys doing here?" I asked suspiciously as I leaned against the doorframe

"We wanted to see if Y/N was busy so she could come train with us, tomorrow is Wednesday and you never know if you'll be chosen to fight." Jayson shrugged as he scratched his nose

Training would be useful but.. I'm not letting anybody hangout with Y/N unless I'm certain they have no interest in being more then friends. Y/N is mine.

"Heh, sorry, but um she's bus-" I got cut off when Y/N entered the room

"Hey guys, what's up?" She said as she was putting fresh nails into her bat

Shit..

"Wanna come train with us?" Harper asked happily

"Oh sure, let me go get my sweater." Y/N smiled and went to her room to grab her sweater

Fuckkk.. I wish people would stop trying to be so friendly to her- wAit- that sound really mean- I want her to have friends- but the more friends you get, the more opportunities there are for her to forget about me and get stolen away from me by somebody else..

I'll kill anybody who tries to take my sunshine away from me.
I just want her all to myself..
She's the first person that I've genuinely really liked in a long time..

She came back shortly after with her usual dark green sweater and her bat.

As the three of them were going out the door, Y/N looked back at me and gave me a smile that melted my heart.

"See you later," she happily said as she closed the door

She's my sunshine..
Only mine.
