Update effective for October 2019:
The Second is getting a new polish--i.e., I'm going to be rewriting this novel (actually, the entire series), and as of early October, the first few parts will be coming through.
This novel will stay up until other updates come through, but just so you know, this will not be continuing. As soon as the new, rewritten series gets a good flow, The Second will be coming down and be thrown into the pile of my other sh--less best writing.
New project is called the Collateral Timelines series, and the first book (the rewrite of The Second) will be called Sundial. Similar concept, new characters, new settings, new structure.
