Chapter 14 - The Party

"Emily! You look gorgeous." Reece's mum Debbie greeted me pulling me

in for a hug. She was at the front door greeting all the guests.

Inside was a big room with a bar in one corner and a dance floor in

the other. Towards the back there were tables and chairs each one

decorated with balloons.

"Aww thanks Deb! You look amazing as well." I replied.

"Its just something I threw on! Have a good night. I think Reece is at

the bar if you want him."

"Thanks Deb. Enjoy the rest of your night." I replied as my friends

and I walked through.

We then quickly sat at a table and ordered some drinks.

"Hey Tessa. I hear What About Tonight are coming." I said.

"WHAT? Oh my god are you serious? Is my hair okay? Oh god what do I

say to them?" She replied.

"Yeah I am serious and you look hot." I replied smiling. She really

could be a big fan girl sometimes. "I'm gonna go find Reece and

mingle. I'll see you guys soon!" I said as I slipt off my seat and

started to walk over to the bar.

"Woah! Babe you look so sexy. What the fuck did I ever do to deserve

you?" Reece greeted me.

"Shut up! I don't look that good but um I think you're drooling." I

replied pretending to wipe his mouth. Reece grabbed my hand and held

it close as he leant in to kiss me. "You taste like beer already." I

added.

"Well I am allowed to drink now so that’s what I plan to do." He replied.

"Being under 18 has never stopped you before though." I added.

"Um yeah whatever. Grrr you're too smart! I'm going to get another

beer." Reece replied before walking off.

Once Reece had left I met up with his friends and sisters before

heading back over to my friends.

"Reece is so gonna get wasted tonight." I said to my friends as I sat

back on my seat.

"Not the reunion you’ve been hoping for is it?" Abby asked.

"Well not exactly. I want him to enjoy his night because he's worked

so hard this year but I just wish I could join him." I replied.

"Don't worry babe. You'll be able to before you know it." Shannen said.

"Thanks babe." I replied.

After a while two arms slid around my waist and a head rested on my shoulder.

"Hey beautiful." Reece said softly.

"Hey babe. What's up?" I replied as sparks were sent around my body

from Reece's warm breath blowing against my cheek.

"I was wondering if I could maybe steal a dance off you?"

"Really? But you hate dancing."

"I know but I want to be with you before I get too drunk to care."
