Chapter 14 - The Party

It was now the 23rd of November and not much had changed. Reece and I

were still talking everyday and science was still incredibly awkward.

I passed my yearly exams and was now just counting down until tomorrow

for Reece's party. I had just got home from a shopping trip with my

friends for a new outfit for tomorrow night and it was a huge success.

Reece is one of the sweetest boyfriends though. Even though its his

birthday and I'm supposed to be giving to him he is flying my friends

and I over to Adelaide for his party as well as paying for a hotel for

that night to stay in. I guess he really wanted me there at all costs.

It was now Saturday and Abby, Brooke, Taylah, Tessa, Shannen and I had

finally reached Adelaide airport. As soon as I saw Reece's beautiful

face I quickly started to run over to him. He started to run to me as

well with a huge grin on his face until we finally reached each other.

Reece quickly lifted me up off the ground and spun me around.

"Hey gorgeous girl. I've missed you so much." Reece said as he started

to place me back down on the ground and pulled me in for a long and

passionate kiss. "God how I've wanted to do that for so long." Reece

said. God how I missed kissing his soft lips.

"Aww babe. Happy Birthday!" I said.

"Aww thanks sweetheart." I pulled Reece closer for another kiss. I'd

missed him like crazy and seeing him now was almost too good to be

true.

Reece's arms were still wrapped around me when I realised that my

friends were all there watching us. I slowly released myself out of

Reece's grasp to bring my friends into the conversation.

"Reece, you remember Brooke, Taylah, Tessa and Shannen don't you?"

"Yeah of course I do." Reece replied as he placed an arm around my

back to pull me closer to him. "Hey girls." Reece greeted them.

"Hey." They replied.

"And this is my other best friend Abby." I said.

"Hey darling. How are you?" Reece greeted her.

"I'm good thanks. How are you?" Abby replied.

"Amazing now that you're all here." Reece replied smiling before

picking up my suitcase and leading us over to his car.

Once Reece had dropped us off at our hotel he kissed me good bye

before telling us that a taxi would pick us up from the hotel at

6:30pm and would take us over to the party. It was now 4pm so as soon

as we reached our hotel room we started getting ready. Having showers,

straightening our hair and applying our make up all required time and

we were straight on to it. Before we knew it 6:30pm had come around

and after a final check in the mirror we were ready to go.
