It wasn't long before night fell and the Winchester brothers were riding in their black impala and on their way to the bar. Dean was riding shotgun for once laying his head against the window and letting the cool window melt the heat in his neck. Sam drove gladly down the highway but could tell something was off. Dean was not acting like Dean and they both knew it. Dean didn't seem to care as much as Sam did, most of his actions mirrored how he felt about Castiel. Dean went back into thought about their relationship. There was good.

Dean was sitting down on the couch with a beer in hand as he erupted into laughter. He was watching an old film from ages ago but it still had the talent of putting a rare smile on Dean's face. Castiel was in the next room putting his trenchcoat on when he heard the contagious laugh. It pushed Castiel to investigate the scene and it made him smile to see Dean laugh.

"What are you laughing at Dean," Castiel peeked his head over the hallway wall and gave Dean a greeting smile. Dean turned and returned the smile back to him. Dean held up his beer and motioned Castiel over to him on the couch.

"Hang on you have to see this it's a classic," Castiel grinned before making his way over to the couch and sitting next to Dean. Dean cocked his head and gave Castiel his all famous smirk.

"Oh well hello beautiful," Castiel just smiled back before turning to watch the film Dean had picked out. It happened very slowly but casually Castiel wrapped his arms around Dean's neck and Dean complied by leaning his head on Castiel's shoulders.

"I love you, Dean," Castiel said as he smiled down at the younger male. Dean looked back up at Castiel and smirked.

"I love you too Cas," Dean grinned as Castiel made a long face.

"Cas?" Castiel questioned but Dean just nodded.

"Your name is awesome, man, but it's a mouthful," Castiel just chuckled as he pulled Dean closer to his chest.

"That's okay, I like it." Dean smiled before he leaned up to kiss Castiel's cheek, making the older man grin in return. They both focused on the movie but not without making little nabs at each other every once in a while, but they were both content with where they were at.

Sam pulled up into a parking space next to the bar with Dean still propped up onto the window. Dean sighed as he ejected his seatbelt and follow up by opening the door. He quickly slid from his seat and out into the cold, his hands shifting into his pockets. Sam soon followed but Dean just grouched as he made his way inside. It wasn't much but free drinks never disappointed Dean. The little bar was full of people hustling to get their drinks so Dean just stood to the side, watching. Whether it was only a minute or a few Dean finally saw a spot open up and he took it, not noticing that Sam had gone elsewhere. Stumbling onto the stool Dean signaled the bartender and boy was she something. Her hair was a flowing curly blond, her eyes blue like the summer skies, her chest was popping out of her top which made Dean disgusted. However, he motioned her over anyway wanting his drink.

"What can I get for you?" Dean just cocked his head to the shelf with all the bottle alcohol and just grinned.

"Anything from the top shelf that hits hard in the back of my neck." The bartender looked at him with pity in her eyes but Dean just waved her off. He didn't need pity, he needed a drink. The bartender poured a brown liquid into a shot glass and slid it over the counter for Dean to catch in his palm. Dean waved his hand in thanks before tilting his head back and allowing the burning sensation of the hot liquid to slide down his throat. Swallowing the mystery alcohol Dean stared down at the counter going into thought about the night he would never forget.

It was warm outside, the smell of barbequed chicken and hamburgers filled his nose. Cas was drinking a beer watching the sunset over the horizon with a frown over his face. Dean whined as he walked over to Castiel and placed a hand over his shoulder.
