My Prince Charming:Chapter 2

***Paul's POV***

When I leave the kitchen I can hear her cleaning. I walk to my room and call my brother, Carl.

Ring, Ring, Ring, Ri...

Carl:Hello?

Me:Hey.

Carl:What's up?

Me:Nothing but maid trouble.

Carl:Again? I think you need a new maid.

Me:Ya but I don't know. Whenever she talks back at me I have this weird voice in the back of my head practically shouting 'let her go. Let her go. Take her back to her family.' It is so weird.

Carl:That's whack bro.

Me:Ya I know. do you want to go to the bar?

Carl:Sure when do you want to go?

Me:How about now?

Carl:That works for me. Meet you at the bar on fourth street?

Me:Ya. I'll meet you there. I just have to tell the maid to stay in her room and then ask someone to make sure she does.

Carl:Alright see you there.

I hang up and go to find Amber. She isn't in the spotless kitchen that I would have thought that she would be in. So I went up to her room on the fifth floor.

***Amber's POV***

I Guess I fell asleep again because I wake up to banging on the door. I walk over to the door and open it. Paul steps in and says,"I'm going to the bar with Carl and I want you to stay here." Of course he does. If I didn't stay here then he wouldn't have a maid to yell at and order around.

"I will stay here in my room. Unless you want me to do any cleaning." I said.(Note the sarcasm.) He looked at me in the eyes with that same unknown expression in his eyes. "Just stay here and don't leave your room. I will have security at your door until I return. Just stay here so they don't have to hurt you again." I flinch at the memory of when I had tried running the first time he had left the house.

***Flashback***

I was running through the unfamiliar house looking for an exit. I looked back over my shoulder to see at least five security guards running after me. I turned back forward just in time to see three more coming from every direction. I tripped over the leg of the chair to my left. I fell on my face then turned and saw them all run over to me. I tried to stand up and run again but they all caught up to me in no time at all. The next thing knew I was being carried back to my room then thrown on the floor and being kicked in the stomach.

I woke an hour later to find that Paul had returned and that he was furious.

***End of Flashback***

"I will stay here." I tell him. He turns and walks away. I see him talk into a microphone on the wall by the stairs. Some security guards walk up and shut my door and I hear it lock.

I sigh and decide to go back to sleep.

***Dream***

I am sitting in a meadow with Josh and we are both laughing as some guy walks past. He has his nose plugged as if he smelled something gross, he had a tall Afro that looked like he hadn't washed it in about a month and he has a purse.

Josh points out two other guys and when I look over at them my breath catches in my throat. I start hyperventilating. I never thought that I would ever see them here.

***End of Dream***

I wake in a cold sweat and then start crying as I realize who it really was in my dream.
